Oh - I didn't realize that it had the micro-SD card! That does help make the case for switching over eventually! And I could learn to use pocket. I use Calibre to convert everything so I'm not really tied to any one ecosystem anyway.
Thanks for letting me know!
Wow. If I had the money, I'd be tempted by this. I like that it's waterproof, and has the reddish-night time glow.
The one thing I can't live without though is Amazon's email-documents-to-kindle feature as I get fic recs or long-read news stories when I'm away from my computer and I want to be able to load them up right away. If I could remotely send documents to a Kobo I would seriously considering it for next ereader.
Ok, that's actually reassuring. Then I don't have to wonder if we've talked before, and I can't remember what about.
I have! Also, were you on Steepster? Your name sounds familiar but I'm not sure. I ask bc I used to post a lot there in another life, under a different pseud. :P
It's interesting too bc there's still that pastry in there too? I have no idea. It's a subtler flavour than the tobacco one I tried but amazing. :D
Oh totally. If it were on Netflix I'd go back through Bryan's old shows too. I like his style of creativity and can't wait to see what he does next.
I mean, yes, season four would be great, but OTOH, just more Bryan Fuller works would be a gift.
The one year anniversary really made me feel excited to be a Fannibal though, and I'm happy that's we haven't' given up, and that we're still creating and talking about Will/Hannibal. <3
Also, my tea collection quickly spiraled out of control. I think my vape collection easily could too if I didn't feel like I had to empty the tank before filling it up with another.
I'm currently vaping with this because it's BLUEBERRY WAFFLE. http://www.180smoke.ca/straight-outta-cotton-e-liquid-30ml And I do like the tobacco flavours too, but I've only been vaping for a week and this was my first vape that I picked on my own.
Small steps?
I'm excited about vaping though bc a large part of what I liked about drinking loose leaf tea was all the different flavours, and here it's the same thing all over again.
Well, you keep writing it and I'll keep reading it. :P (Like seriously, you can't beat yourself up for having favorite tropes when people will read variations of the same trope for months!)
Yeah, I'm worried some people will turn on Bryan as well. I know he loved Hannibal, but it was a bit of a struggle filming S3 and approving budgets etc, (it was a really expensive show!) and now he has Star Trek, which was what got him into to film anyway, so.... it might take awhile before he has a chance to get back to it...
I'd love to see more Hannibal, but I am definitely very grateful that we got that finale we did with the literal cliffhanger and Will embracing Hannibal's morality, even if it was just temporary. It was completely satisfying and leaves us open to go on with Murder Husbands from there.
Gorgeous vid for a gorgeous show. <3
I had a similar thought today while I was ALSO reading a lovely Harry/Draco fic. But then I glanced up and saw a woman across from me just randomly smile at something she was looking at and... hey, maybe I'm not as alone as I thought?
I bookmarked this tutorial to make Holtzmann's necklace: http://www.epbot.com/2016/07/craftin-makes-me-feel-good-diy.html It looks pretty easy. :D
Oh! Yeah Teavivre is great - I forgot about them. And they have good sales too.
"Two people stuck in a cabin' - YES gimme some forced proximity. :P I love it.
Also, it's probably silly to tag this a spoiler since it's been out for a year but this image spoils everything as it's MOMENTS before they go off the cliff. (for those who haven't and will never watch it)
I think you have to wait for someone to comment before you can see who they are in your community profile page. Otherwise, they're all floating - this can be handy for people who're unsure what pseud they want to commit to using since you can never change it, but it is a bit unnerving for personal communities... I think someone has suggested letting people commit to a pseud if they want to when they first join a comm - that would definitely help!
Yeah, I'm not sure yet? I joined a few fandom comms, and I'm hoping if enough ppl participate, we could get some great convos going re: Ships, fandom etc.
I like that they added personal blogs to make it more like LJ. I have a feeling like they will adapt to fandom if we make a big enough presence here.
Oh! I love that one! Good choice. :D
Glitter & Gold is pretty fun! I always love that one around Christmas.
Oh! I haven't had that one in awhile! But I'm drinking Pumpkin Chai from DavidsTea this morning and I feel luxurious! I see they launched the fall line last week and I quickly snapped all the new teas up as well as a gorgeous bear tea mug.
You can also use OneNote in a lot of the same ways people use Evernote, except that I don't think you need a subscription for it. I've got it syncing between my phone, tablet and computer, and it keeps track of all my to-dos, 'important things', as well as random snaps of 'when sick buy THIS medicine and not the other one that looks similar'.
I really, really, tried with the Bullet Journal and I had fun with it but it took so much time, especially if I wanted it to be pretty, and then I just stopped carrying it in my purse. I wanted it to work, but I guess I'll stick with OneNote since I'm always online anyway.
Good luck with yours though!
That sounds like quite the destination! :O
I've seen some complaints about 'no porn', no way, but I'm still very optimistic. If enough people jump on for thoughtful fannish discourse etc, maybe that'll be enough to get tumblr/twitter users over.
Yes, it's hard to go from following people to communities, but imzy is ALREADY adapting to that and helping us out. It doesn't seem so much to give them a chance too.
I like that there are thoughtful fannish people here pioneering the way for everyone else. And I'm excited to be a part of it. :)
I think that's it? I loved so many moments -slowly piecing together what's going on behind the scenes, trying to decipher Laurent, mentally yelling at both of them for being such idiots, but that whole escapade in the inn, and the escape from it, are the most memorable.
Of course, I could just read it all for the third time since I'm fuzziest on the last book.
