It's silly. It makes me think of the Cave of Ordeals which i generally kind of enjoy; there's enough story mixed in to make it something other than just a hack'n'slash fighter. I want Linkle's game though!
I'm currently playing Hyrule Warriors on both the 3DS and WiiU, and have a save file on both Twilight Princess and Windwaker active. I'm looking at Skyward sword but have made a condition of getting it that I've finished one of the others first.
cheers
Unfortunately I've got D and H waiting to be archived!

Vetinari must have paid the clockmaker a small fortune.
It's an old, well worn thought, born in the hazy, ill remembered days of his Captaincy of the Night Watch and cemented and reinforced in the sober days after his marriage. It doesn't surprise him that Vetinari left it to him. It'll be put in pride of place in their drawing room - and he still wonders that he has a drawing room, more than one in fact - if he knows Sybil. And he does.I rather enjoy playing in Weber's sandpit 😄

Tick.
It was something you got used to when you served out-system. It was so easy to get out of sync with home; even comparatively short hyperspace journeys could knock you off by hours. Longer journeys amplified the division of personal and universal further - by her calendar she was years younger than by the calendar of the wider universe - and so time became relative rather than absolute. Malleable under specific circumstance, but marching ever forwards.
It made simultaneity across multiple star systems rather arbitrary. (Of course, it wasn't entirely; the computers had calculated it.)
Tock.
She picked up the sword.

Good to see you too!

I had one of those moments with a work document earlier, which is when i gave up on it and moved to something i could use a screenreader on.
Fandom: Honor Harrington
Character: Michelle "Mike" HenkeShe knows what her reputation is; it’s carefully cultivated and a lie.
A running joke, like Alice Truman’s ability to gather a harem, that disguises the fact that neither of them have gone on a date since the Academy. The perils of serving in space - where as an officer everyone aboard is somewhere in your chain of command. And when you make the ‘faxes simply for existing.
Her reality is unrequited; it’s sex toys and fantasies and being grateful when she serves alongside friends who don’t mind her need for skin contact.
But her reputation gets in the way, too.
Fandom: Honor Harrington
Pairing: Honor/AndrewShe just needed comfort. And though she can trust everyone - even Warner, now - that ended up in Hell with her, Andrew is the one who had seen her at her best and worst. She knows that he’d die for her.
It starts with the need for warmth, and an attempt to keep him from spending his every hour on guard, lest he overdose on stims, and continues with the consequences of her lost arm. It ends with weakness and pleasure and a choice that isn’t a choice at all.
(She never thought that she’d have a child.)
It’s not love, but.
It's a gorgeously femslashy cover!
That's a gorgeous - and perfect - Drabble!
Harry Potter in a publically way; there are still orphaned badfic of mine from my early teens out there that i'm never ever linking to. Also Sylum, which was my intro to role-playing and insane AU universes.
I adore the Chalet School books; I just wish they were easier to get hold of these days! I haven't been able to track any of them down for years!
It's almost like a never ending Cave of Ordeals - but you get to play as basically all the characters.
I was really sceptical about Hyrule Warriors to begin with, but they're actually ridiculous fun. And I want a game all about Linkle now!
I started with Link's Awakening on a Gameboy twenty years ago and never looked back. I'm currently gleefully smashing my way through Hyrule Warriors and waiting for the next iterations on both the 3DS and WiiU ...
