People clearly are still being taken in by these ideas - but giving people who espouse them unfettered access to a stage is not how to go about stopping their ideas spreading. And they aren't harmless "differences of opinion" - Milo bullies and outs people who he decides don't fit in and he shouldn't be allowed a platform to do that.
Oh and he's a literal Nazi: http://rsbenedict.tumblr.com/post/139549103241/why-did-the-university-of-minnesota-host-a
I just watched this video by Steve Shives on this topic - more good points!
(this is wolfpurplemoon btw) Sleepymachine has articulated very well why the article is very wrong.
And interfering with foreign governments by suggesting total twat faces as US ambassadors.

Yeah and Facebook takes a big part of the blame
crap
I hope they give it him back after he loses, the meltdown is going to be beautiful.
Seems like the right place to me!
Yeah - I'm looking forward to her pre and post election specials!
wow could the preview image be any creepier!
I have no idea really but no need to waste any energy discussing any of this with me, I'm in the UK and not a voter in the US election :)
Yeah, the dude's trash and we won't be sad to see him carted off out of the UK.
Eh, I don't really care enough about him to look into anything he thinks about anything, but I'm sure I've seen the wikileaks twitter post a bunch of pro-Trump crap, or at least stuff that aligns pretty neatly with a lot of the crap Trump and his supporters say.
I'm so over Julian Assange, dude, noone in this country cares that you're holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy, and why the fuck are you a Trump supporter??
This is silly, but I'm actually crying.
This is truly the weirdest election
They should've made Sam Bee the main presenter of The Daily Show - she is just amazing.
Media is right wing, media is misogynistic, list goes on!
;_;
Yeah parliamentary - we still use FPTP. The devolved parliaments (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) use proportional rep I think, and a lot of the parties elect their leaders with runoff voting, but apparently they want to stick with FPTP for voting in our MPs. Some MPs get a lot less than 50% of the vote in some areas, though I've lived in a couple of very safe Conservative seats where the MP does actually get over 50%.
Yeah, they called it AV for the referendum. We use First Past the Post like most places - the minor parties are opposed to it. We got the referendum because in 2010 the Conservatives were unable to get a majority government so had to enter a coalition with the Lib Dems who would obviously want true proportional representation (probably the fairest of all systems?) but AV was the compromise.
I think a lot of the anti-AV side focussed on how it would allow fringe parties like the BNP get seats, but now we've voted for Brexit so I don't know how that put anyone off AV.
Yeah this is why we tried to get Alternative Vote in the UK - you rank your choices and then if no candidate gets more than 50% then the candidate with the lowest number of votes is out and the second place votes on their ballots are distributed amongst the remaining candidates and this continues until someone gets more than 50%. We had a referendum about it in 2011 but apparently most people like unfair voting systems :/
As a Brit who only sees US election coverage online - I agree it's gone on far too long now and it's been so draining just watching from over here. Is it really still 2 weeks to go!!!!
