Adorable.
I tend to downplay much of what I do, but yeah...I do think I'm impressive in my own way.
I'm glad that it's manageable for you now. Things will be ok.
By handling it on my own, I meant not having support or talking to people about it. I did that for years and then I went to therapy last year. Just being able to talk to someone about it helped as I learned a lot (where it came from, how to deal with it, ect )
As of today, not too bad. It's the weekend, so that helps. I'm trying my best to destress at the end of every work day, but having people to blab to is great. I'm making it a point to build more support this year and do the same for others. Been trying to do handle things on my own and that's a first class mistake when it comes to my anxiety.
How are you doing?
Someone like that certainly isn't your friend and they never were. If you need someone to listen to, well...
We'll listen.
Hi there. 33 years old.
I first had my panic attack during a massive family situation involving a house, bank accounts, and closing them. It felt like I was having a heart attack. Then, I remembered my father experienced something similar and made the association. That was in 2011 or so. Since then, I struggled with realizing the depth of my anxiety and went to therapy this year after a massive car accident involving a semi truck. Yay.
I've struggled with depression and self-esteem issues as well. Always thought I could just handle them on my own because...I dunno..masculinity. Again, my Dad. Now, I'm doing a ways better thanks to all the therapy this year. 2017 is going to be hard and my sessions less frequently due to insurance, but finding the right is what I need right now.
Thanks, peeps.
Solid!
