Thanks for the interesting post. I love my aeropress!
:) I was thoroughly confused where some of the letters went, then I read the description. Great video and artwork. I (well my dwarfs) can relate to almost all of those !fun! times.
Nice video, I'll know what to avoid :)
I want to get into it really soon. I think I'll just try the method of roasting it in a pan. It's supposed to work really well.
I think I'll get them from here: http://www.happymugcoffee.com/espresso-blends/49-8-lb-sample-pack.html It seems like a good ammount and some fresh roasted beans would make nice presents for friends.
I no longer do. I have a spot in my heart for minecraft. I played it since early betta and put thousands of hours in it. I played several thousand of hours in multiplayer. It's a great game, but I've just kind of grew away from it.
Nice. I've not tried any mods yet, this one looks super handy. It's always difficult for me to find the person I'm looking for.
Dang, that's nice. I've never heard that or played that before, looks like I have a new game to try. :)
Just wondering if you've ever heard the orchestral version or zelda songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Qp-ypYp6rQ ? It's pretty interesting.
Saw this while browsing Imgur, thought you may enjoy!
Oh my that looks amazing!
It's really hard to tell at the moment. Right now it seems friendlier and less shit-posty, but only time will tell if that remains the case. Reddit has become so toxic through shit posting, pun threads and similar that it's hard to have any kind of relevant discussion or community. Hopefully Imzy will keep the community and connecting with others in the forefront and not reward shitposts and puns as much as reddit does.
My favorite series is The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. It's Tolkien-like in it's descriptive power. "The Land" is the world it is set in and it becomes a character of it's own. There are some tough themes involving rape so it's not for everyone, but it's nothing worse than what happens in say, Game of Thrones or such. It's a damn compelling series. There is three "trilogies" to the series, but the 3rd and final actually has 4 books to it.
I just love Stephen Donaldson's style of writing and usage of language. He sometimes uses obscure words that I had to use a dictionary to find. I feel I have a larger than average vocabulary, but still found a few I didn't know. He's not wordy for the sake of wordiness though, the words are chosen very deliberately. Often the more obscure word has a slightly different meaning than the commonly used one.
If you're looking for a super epic series, this is it.
As long as the animals are properly taken care of I have no problem with them. They are a great learning opportunity. If we can't connect with the animals, they mean nothing, the same as mythical creatures. Zoos bring animals from the realm of imaginary to real for most people. How can you care about the welfare of something that's imaginary?
It's been pretty good. I ruined my keyboard last night by spilling soda on it. I've used computers with drinks near the keyboard for 20+ years and never had this happen. Anyway, I was able to order a new keyboard, so I'm all set!
As for coffee, I had this coffee today: https://smokeyrow.com/product/vermont-maple-nut-crunch It's pretty tasty and we have a Smokey Row pretty close to home.
Since I can't post early access, I can't post my real favorite, vagante. I'll go with Axiom Verge. It's a great metroidvania type game. Awesome pixel art and some of the neatest powerups I've seen in a game like this.
Mine would be Deadly Towers. If you've not seen it, check it out. It was stupidly insanely difficult. My cousins had this game and we loved it. In a time when we could only afford one game, this kept us busy for several years.
My favorite at the moment is Infra Arcana. I get burnt out on medieval fantasy themed stuff. I'm a huge Lovecraft fan, so this game is right up my alley. I like ascii, but the tileset is absolutely wonderful.
The Ground Gives way is another great one for shorter sessions.
