I don't watch the show, but it's cool to have a whole week focused around this character being ace!
I have a tumblr, bookgirlfan.tumblr.com, and with enough interest I might start a side blog for ace and aro headcanons, but at the moment I'm not sure enough people would submit for it to be worthwhile.
The Sum of Its Parts is amazing. I still haven't finished reading it, as I read as far as the first time I found it, I just haven't gotten back to it since, but it is so good. And yeah, Derek is totally ace, it's even a plot point of one of the stories, and their relationship still works just fine, which I really love.
I don't read much comics, so I'm not familiar with Mother Panic, but that list is awesome! :)
I've only seen the first few seasons, but they were really fun! Just that after a while it becomes more about the season arc than the individual cases, and I'm more a case-per-episode kind of girl.
Definitely! It's pretty awesome that Mark Hamill is so willing to accept him not necessarily being straight. I know there's a fair number of people who see him as gay, but I see no more evidence for that than for him being straight - less, probably.
I don't date, but if I did, I'd want people I can have a conversation with, different people, not just different looking ones.
But what does True Love really mean? Just that someone loves you truly? Because if it's that you have people you love and who love you in return, that's way better than success. If it's the Disney True Love (TM), then I'll pick success.
I don't interact with my neighbours, so it makes absolutely no difference to me.
Never had a crush, so no problem!
Define huge.
I already have family, I'm not giving them up for any amount of money.
I love this song so much, and this vid makes an amazing accompaniment. I nearly cried.
I would definitely be interested, but any realtime discussion will likely cause problems with time differences.
I love fic challenges! I've posted one already: http://archiveofourown.org/works/8776120
I see absolutely no problem with getting paid for being tickled 6-8 hours a week.
The video sounds utterly hilarious and less stalkery.
Work the 7 figure job until I can do the job I love without worrying about money!
I would happily wear either a suit or a dress, but a tracksuit? Not really for me.
Definitely worth being homeless at that price!
This is a masterstroke.
Flying! I can hold my breath long enough, and I walk pretty fast. I could hover over my brother's head and finally say I'm taller!
As far as I'm concerned, sex is something for other people.
I generally drop it. Maybe if I get back to that fandom, I'll try it again, or even try rereading some old favourite fanfics in that fandom if it's something I've put too much work into abandon, but it's not worth pushing a fic I don't care about anymore.
I could not stand to be cooped up forever. No way!

Ace Headcanons# Beth Childs from Orphan Black is asexual, and possibly heteroromantic but very much sex repulsed.Jun 15 at 5:46 PM
