No, ... ...... .........
I'm Batman!
Looks, it's a song, by MC Chris, about gamer girls (or nerd girls to be specific to the lyrics) . I like the song. I am a gamer/nerd/geek myself. Before you ask, I am not a girl. I respect my fellow gamer/nerd/geeks, and the females which make up a vital and thankfully growing percentage of our demographic (which was not always the case.)
My friend more or less dared me to share my appreciation in a more public venue, so I posted here on Imzy. That explain everything for you?
A shout-out.
Link copied wrong, should work now.
I used an Irradiated Rolling Pin for a while in my first game.
Have fun, and remember to take your Radaway.
Ah Jet, love that sweet bullet-time!
This one is high on my Steam Wishlist. Which has grown a bit lately, between jobs after moving cross country (nearly 2600 miles, yikes!).
The one I keep going back to is my Explosive 10mm pistol. Fully modded for silenced short to mid range combat, named 'Ares Predator III'. It just feels right.
A sign, written in flaming letters 40 miles high, that reads "We apologize for the inconvenience.".
Space junkie, can't help myself. I can barely wait to get out there and start cataloging new worlds! When you absolutely, positively must kill every mofo in the game.....
Save the merchants for last.
I want to sit in orbit and watch the light break over the planet's edge.
Deathclaw Island - Gotta Catch 'em All. Just sad I don't have the DLC's yet.
Perks - Scrounger lets you find more ammo in containers, and Cap Collector does the same for Caps, which in turn makes buying ammo a little easier. Build-dependant, I lso took Local Leader and placed a Weapon Merchant in Sanctuary early on to help address ammo availability.
Ammo Type - Which are you running out of? Especially in the early game ammo can be a bit scarse, so I know that I personally had to pack a few different guns in order to distribute my ammo consumption across several calibres. Over use a specific ammo type and it just makes the early game's lower ammo count seem like they are that much worse.
Making a guess this is the game you are refering to, and gonna show my age here (as well as my general lack of interest in FPS games), To make sure I understand correctly, MW2 = Modern Warfare?
That and Vegetable Starch is why I am doing alright on other resources. Wood is the one I am in a critical shortage of.
Never had to worry about Adhesive after this little tip! Food/Water over what is needed in a settlement is automatically added to the Workbench's inventory for you. So you can basically farm Adhesive (and crafting XP) with Water purifiers, and the Fallout Trio of Veggies.
3 each, Corn, Mutfruit, Tato's & 1 Purified water = 1 Vegetable starch. Which Scraps for 5 Adhesive.
Mufruit provides 1 Food Point per plant, so is my go to way to feed my settlements. Remember that each Settler assigned to farming can only tend 6 points worth of Food, so 6 Mutfruit trees(bushes?), or a total 12 Corn/Tato's. I like to plant patches of 6/6/6 of the veggies, assign 2 Settlers to tend the plot, and make sure there is an Industrial Purifier running (I usually place 2-3 in Sanctuary's conveniently placed river).
Return to Sactuary (or anywhere you set up your Adhesive farming operation) and craft that Starch! -- Don't forget to pop some Mentats and put on that spiffy +INT wardrobe to maximize your crafting XP --
The higher your Intelligence, the more XP you earn from any given action. Use Mentats and a INT boosting item of clothing before turning in a queset completion to net a few bonus XP (and don't sweat the addiction, there is Addictol, the craftable Refreshing Beverage, and it's like what, 400 caps, to have a doc remove addictions.
Pick every lock you can, and hack terminals you find (if the door has a terminal, try picking it first if possible, then using the terminal unlock) since each action gets you some XP. Make gear mods and craft items for your settlements. Seriously half of my levels have come from modding guns for myself and te security guards I have posted in my settlements, as well as building the settlements themselves. (again wearing an INT outfit and popping Mentats for that higher INT XP boost)
AS said earlier, don't feel railroaded into the main story quests. Side quests and random exploration are great ways to enjoy the game, and keep that XP flowing. Lastly, a comment on map exploration. Areas DO reset, so revisiting sites you haven't been to in a while can net you more random loot and enemies.
Hope this helps a little, have fun, and remember that WAR, War never changes.
New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, not Bethesda (BlodMust alluded to this already). Compare FO4's take on Slavery and Prostitution to FO3's and you see that Bethesda clearly made a choice to exclude the issue of slavery in FO4. Perhaps they felt the focus on the human rights issues related to Synths was enough?
It would be too easy for me to think that they were simply dumbing down the title, avoiding deeper social issues and commentary that have been a factor of the franchise since it's inception. Or to think that Bethesda wanted to somehow prove it's dominance over the franchise by avoiding shared elements with New Vegas (such as the only now being implemented Survival Mode).
The Draw system did irritate me, and lets not even start on Gunblades. I have always felt a little sorry for VIII though, I think any game would have a tough time following VII's massive success.
I loved the art style on IX, and it is my mother's favorite of the franchise. She appropriated my copy when I first bought it, think she still plays it even.
I'm hooked on your Fallout content, guess it's time to start watching a few of your Elder Scrolls videos now.
I've challenged myself to NOT use a single scoped weapon, since I just about always end up wandering the wastelands sniping mutants 'n' raiders with long range headshots. It's been a real PITA so far to change my fundamental playstyle, but I have found myself enjoying it, as well as using weapons I might otherwise never have used. I actually cleared a patrol of Supermutants last night using just a Sledge and about 20+ Nuka-Cola's.
The closer Bethesda can get the Survival Mode it to FO:NV's Hardcore, the happier I will be. AS of the last time I checked (late last week) FO4's Survival Mode only affects the game difficulty still. I was able to save anywhere and ammo still had no weight.
