• Thank you!!!

  • It really is. :(

  • So many color guard folks around here! I also was in guard all through high school. Didn't have one at my college though, sniff. Nice to meet you!

  • Oh, so you mean posting fan art or fic that is not your own? That's a good question and point. I will make a post about that and maybe an addendum in the rules.

One thing to keep in mind with requesting tags to be added is that all of our group's tags will show up in the drop down menu for blacklisting (or only showing) posts with the tags chosen. Per the pictures above. So our group members will have to have to scroll through all the tags if they want to blacklist or only show posts with their chosen tag. So, that means, unlike on tumblr, we can't have hundreds or thousands of tags. :)

  • One thing you can do is to make the feed condensed by clicking on the box with - I think - 5 lines inside at the upper right hand side of the feed. That gives you a compressed view. Not sure what you mean though. Maybe that doesn't help at all?

  • I believe Odette is asking about tagging people, if that's what you mean. As far as adding your own tags to the bottom of posts, let me start a thread for that. Of course, you can choose from the tags we've already provided. But the leaders have to create tags. On this platform you can exclude by or include by tags on the main feed. Look on the main CS page for the upside down triangle of lines to the upper right hand area of where all the posts are. Try it out a bit. So if you only want to see certain tagged posts you just choose those. That's why there aren't endless tags...so that the list you have to scroll through isn't really really long. It's great for organization and blacklisting purposes, but sad if you like to talk in your tags.

  • Gosh I feel like I've told my story before, so I'm super sorry if it's a rehash for those of you who follow my tumblr.

I have always been involved in book fandoms. This is my first tv show fandom. My first big fandom was the Plum Series by Janet Evanovich. On Yahoogroups. I wrote "Cupcake" fanfiction in a fandom divided by the relationships in the love triangle in the books. But as you might imagine, I was never really plussed by fandom fighting so I also had loads of friends who were "Babes" the other pairing.

Like a lot of you, I was a huge HP fan. I used to frequent The-Leaky-Cauldron and the other one...I forget the name. I was endlessly fascinated by the marauders who role played their way through the comments sections of TLC and then eventually got kicked off. But I rarely participated.

Meantime, I lost interest in the Plum Series and stopped reading...but discovered Outlander. I remember not being able to put it down ... reading til 3 a.m. and holding it beneath my desk to sneak reading during work. I found my fandom place in OL just as the tv show was materializing. On Facebook groups. Things got stupidly heated over there and I lost interest in the FB nonsense. But I have some great friends over in that fandom who don't really GAF about what is - I'm not kidding - a far more dysfunctional fandom. Largely because of real life shipping stuff and disagreements over book-to-show decisions. I enjoy going to Scottish themed activities with my OL family and that's fine for me.

Around the same time OL got a tv show, I found OUAT on tumblr. I was here with a different blog for the first spoiler pics of the kiss in Neverland. But I was already head over heels for CS by this point. However, I kept my distance from fandom for a while, because I didn't understand the platform. I never understood how anyone could form RL friendships on there...for the longest time. But somehow, it's happened for me, and I have found extremely fulfilling friendships here, along with people who - like me - don't quite concern themselves with supposed divides between fan groups. (Probably because - as most of you who know me know - I love Regina too.)

I am looking forward to hearing other people's stories! What a fun thread.

  • Don't feel shame! There are a couple of former Twilight fanfic writers who got together to write, whom I love to read when I want brain candy. Christina Lauren. Happy you're with us here!

  • Ohhh! Those are amazing headcanons. I accept these heartily!

  • Agreed! Let's hope they not only pay attention to the source material but somebody somewhere has an eye of the actual timeline and continuity. LOL.

  • This is so pretty! Thanks for sharing! Happy to see you here.

  • And definitely you should all communicate with the staff about things you'd like to see added/ changed. We're in at the ground floor here. It's still in beta so we can really help them to make it the great platform it has the potential of being.

  • I have known you from tumblr for a while but I am glad to see you here as well! I'll be sure to talk to you on your comments if I see them! Welcome!

  • I'm hoping they move in together but at the beginning of the season, I think it will be that he isn't yet living there. I have a cracked screen and I read the first choice as "Emma in her house/Killian on top". UM YES.

  • YAY!! Glad you're here!

  • Man are those pretty gifs. Yeah, they only allow 10 tags and they are created by the community leaders... I suppose we could create episode tags. LOL. Ummmm. Not it.

  • Hey! I don't know if you were testing out the spoiler capabilities, but the checkbox for new posts to be marked spoilers is under the tags at the bottom, under options. :) Feel free to ask me more about that. This site is still in beta mode so you can also post questions/suggestions to the Imzy staff.

  • I'm really excited to see what this platform turns out to be!

  • When I made the post, at the bottom there were check box options - one was spoilers, one was nsfw and there were two others...I forget.
