Librarian, skeptic, lover of fused glass, music, movies, travel, and books. I grew up in IL, lived in Central PA for nearly a decade (where I met my husband), then moved to CA in 2010 and absolutely love it.

We call one of our cats "The little twitcher" and/or "the twitchinator" because she's super skittish. We also call one "The Dokester" (His name is Loki, so he went from Loki ->Loki Dokie ->Dokie ->The Dokester)

No, he's indoor only (although if I lived somewhere with snow, I'm pretty sure I'd send him out at least once just to see his giant snowshoe-like paws in action 😀)

I would definitely recommend American Gods, and Neil Gaiman in general. He's one of the only authors that I know of who can write everything from picture books to adult fantasy.

    Poor thing!

I don't have any pictures of the jewelry, but some of my glass is on my store (BadCatArtGlass.com). The thing I love about fusing and jewelry is that once you get some basic techniques down, there are no limits to what you can make. Do you do anything crafty?

I don't know if I have a favorite book from this year - there are so many good ones. I re-read "American Gods," which was amazing (and is going to be a TV series in 2017); I also really loved "Hamilton: The Revolution" and Scott Westerfeld's "Zeroes."

Thanks for the questions - I'm never quite sure what to put in introduction posts, so that makes it much easier :-).
