I posted my top ten from IF Comp here: http://ifdb.tads.org/viewlist?id=xzf6951v5n2rpq49
I also enjoyed Rough Draft, from SpringThing, and Ryan Veeder's Reference and Representation: An Approach to First-Order Semantics. And, from IntroComp, Some Exceptions for Reasons Unknown.
Still on my to-play list: Foo Foo, Worldsmith, the Peterkin Investigates trilogy, Open Sorcery, The Mary Jane of Tomorrow, Draculaland, Hard Puzzle 2 & 3, The Veeder, Not All Things Make It Across. Man, I played over 80 games this year and I still missed a lot!
Yes! Also congrats to the Miss Congeniality winners, Arthur DiBianca, Hanon Ondricek, and Robin Johnson.
My personal under-rated favorite was K.G. Orphanides's "Eight characters, a number, and a happy ending". Give it a shot, though I recommend getting an account on textadventures.co.uk before playing it online so you can save (and autosave). I also enjoyed Aquanet's "The Shoe Dept."
How about a bug-and-feature-request tracker? :)
I suppose we'll find out!
Given the lack of RSS, and no comment email notifications after the first, I'm definitely losing interest in Imzy.
Links to all the games are here: http://ifdb.tads.org/viewcomp?id=rwu4tf3yqnnb2067
