Yep creepy! Does it really start this early?

First I heard of it was this article last year.

I like the idea of ninja edits. Even when I read it before I post I often miss something and only see it after I post and change it. This happens in emails too but the reaction then is s**t.

It feels odd to admit this but ... it's a bible quote

Ecclesiastes 10-19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.

  • Let's Grab Coffee!Let's Grab Coffee!I need a hug!Jul 11, 2016 at 6:29 AM

Here's an internet hug for you!

5 years ago I realised that if it take me twice as long to do my studies that's OK. When I'm working I still tell myself that if something takes me twice as long then it takes me twice as long (the end product is the same).

I just wanted to say that it is probably going to be hard but you'll find a way. It may take a few tries but it's not a stop just a change of path. Don't give up if something doesn't work try something else.

No cracks, easy to heat, morning sun in bedroom window, good size kitchen and an easy to maintain garden... well s**t I've gotten old.

  • Personal FinancePersonal FinanceWhat kind of tools are people using to manage their personal finances?Jul 10, 2016 at 3:22 AM

In the past I used Track my spend (ASIC's money smart). But mostly just use Excell.

  • Personal FinancePersonal FinanceWhat's one of the best financial decisions you've ever made?Jul 09, 2016 at 11:58 PM

Yep all were on the same dashboard, so to speak. I've never had a bank limit the amount of accounts but they do limit bonus interest deals. I only ever pay for my transaction account most banks in Aus wont charge you for savings accounts.

  • Personal FinancePersonal FinanceWhat's one of the best financial decisions you've ever made?Jul 07, 2016 at 3:26 AM

Mine was to have more than 2 accounts. I have

    1 long term savings

    1 short term savings

    1 For rent and utilities

1 for all other expenses like food and transport

and 1 which is the transaction account.

Basically if I wanted to buy food or pay rent I had to move the money into the transaction account. To spend it I had to move it. So all moneys were allocated for the month. I classify 3 of them as growing accounts, the 2 savings and the rent and utilities one. Any left over would remain in the R and U account to work towards the 3 month buffer. It gave me a much better understanding of money and expenses than anything else i had tried.

  • CatsCatsIf your cat was an Avenger, which one would he be?Jun 28, 2016 at 7:52 PM

Process of elimination had to go with the Hulk he's not smart enough for the others. And he does this thing where he puts all of his weight on one paw and stands on me when he is trying to get conformable, so definitely doesn't know his own size.
