I dabble with headmates every now and then, but I don't really feel that what I experience is strong enough to fit into whatever other labels exist out there like tulpas or multiplicity, etc. Then again, I barely even have a daemon anymore. :(
Oh, I totally forgot about HDM deaths! That is....interesting, I'd never considered having one haha. Thank you for explaining!
Tell us more about Deaths, I've never heard of them?
If daemon-typing worked in a TDF sort of way instead of a Pullman one it would be neat to see if researchers would survey people with less studied settled forms so they could have a vague framework for what the animal's behavior might be. It wouldn't be a substitute for actual field work, but may provide clues or points of interest ("we noticed that people with x obscure daemon have a statistically higher sociability than we would expect from animals in that genus, maybe this species is an outlier").
I'm parking on top of Pullman forms for the time being until I get my mental health together--it doesn't make much sense to shop for TDF forms while I'm still at odds with and actively seeking to overhaul major parts of my personality. So I'm going with some sort of snail for now (I've yet to settle on what kind). Kahi isn't particularly interested in that form (he does like invertebrates but doesn't like being so small) so he's usually a phainopepla or dormouse or a coyote or something.
