    I'm personally hoping for something new, the 6P is great but it's not that much more awesome than my girlfriend's Moto G. Small upgrades for three times the price :(

    Still, it is a really good phone running Nougat.

    Sad to see the Nexus brand retired, but Pixel is such a wonderful, playful name! Planning on keeping my 6P this year anyway, keeping the brand alive one more year.

    My suggestion is get a Nexus, as recent as possible. They usually have a lot of custom ROMs and kernels that allow you to squeeze a lot of performance out of them at the expense of battery life. Of course, the more demanding games will require powerful modern devices.
