What a lovely vid!
The next one I'm reading is "Lies We Tell Ourselves" by Robin Talley on my girlfriend's recommendation, and I want to pick up "A Curious Wine" by Katherine V. Forrest from my LGBT group's library :)
No worries! Thanks for letting me know. I'm behind with the Themed Recs on here myself...
Cool, I hope femslash exchange goes well! :)
No worries, I have extensive experience with Stuff. Will do!
Just a reminder that we're reaching the end of the posting period for your ship manifesto. If you want to extend it just let me know here or at the helpdesk :)
Hi phidari! Do you want to change your posting time? Let me know either here or on the helpdesk, whichever suits you.
Of course! If you pick a time you'd like to post at vaguely (e.g. early November) that would be great.
That sounds awesome! I'll add you to the list :)
They're not a required part of posting here, it's fine :) and I get what you mean, "Black Mirror" and potentially disturbing content go hand in hand! Just thought I'd add notes since a couple of those are things I prefer to be aware of before diving into new media.
I'm checking "San Junipero" out soon! For any members who want some content notes before watching I've heard that there's themes of
death, euthanasia, past homophobia, and loss of a child (as an adult?) of one of the characters.
Mine were the Les Chansons de Bilitis illustrations :) I hadn't either, I've started following that tumblr now to see what else it posts!
Yes! The tight focus really works in this comic, but I also adore how the artist draws Korra and Asami's bodies in her other stuff.
Oo, I'd love to listen to that! Do you mean the whole "coffin of BLOOOOD" thing, or something else?
Heh, yeah, the other other Carmilla is essentially the university AU of the other Carmilla ;)
10/10 would vamp again.
Ahaha!
Thanks ^^
A+ GIF usage! :D
Heh, I love the slight uncertainty of it!
Aw, thanks for the shout-out <3
Ahaha, yeah I was just thinking about this. I didn't want to limit that one to Christmas/New Year's but I couldn't think of a more general theme other than "winter"; feel free to rec some June/July winter shenanigans :P Apologies to all Southern Hemisphere members!
I love it when characters go about having a love story in an unconventional but completely right for them way, and this fic pushed that button hard for me :)
I love Daphne/Velma! I can't believe I wasn't shipping it sooner.
I, er, wouldn't watch Stranger Things for Barb/Nancy I'm afraid. I don't know whether you've seen any spoilers but, um. Their interactions are brief and tragic.
Whichever you prefer - if having a deadline date of your choosing would help I'll edit the post to reflect that, if not, between 15 and 31 October is fine! I'm excited about your manifesto, particularly with them showing up on the Netflix shows!
That's awesome! :D
