Whoa. Yep, checking this out ASAP.
Aww, the flu (and anything like it) sucks. I hope you feel better soon! And until then, I hope your pillow always has a cool side and that you're able to hold down liquids like a champ. <3
Omg I just melted.
If there end up being legal issues with doing this as a business, maybe it would be legally simpler to set it up as a charity or fundraiser? I don't know how that works or if it would actually be simpler, but it might be an idea worth exploring.
I've had that on my list to watch for a while! I'm glad to hear it's a sensitive portrayal.
I was never really a fan of South Park, but their bits on religion are usually poignant. There's a sort of tongue-in-cheek affection for religion that allows them to poke fun at it with a kind of freedom other shows don't seem to feel.
Salty. I want popcorn!
He's a stand-up comedian and this is his opening sequence. It's meant to look like the opening to a lighthearted sitcom.
Aw, thanks! :)
Me too! The colors are gorgeous.
I've gotten pretty good at them... I just have to use my index finger and try to shoot to the very top of my phone.
A chorus of people going, "John Mulaney's new in town! He's spilling mustard on his shirt, and he's got some papers to deliver! Oh no! He's successful!" just sprang into my head. May have watched New in Town too many times.
I make this with flatbread! It's so good. (I usually replace the tomato sauce with half-and-half of spicy honey bbq sauce and ranch dressing, then load with cheese and pepperoni. Shockingly good.)
Same here... except I was thinking, "Geez, why does it get so hard in the middle of Level 17? The middle of a level seems like a weird place to change the difficulty..."
Reason #251 I am grateful to be a sheltered American... Yikes.
Yup, I usually catch water Pokemon at the splash fountain at my local park.
Seems like they'd need to design one with various paths -- one for straight, one for curveballs, and one for Zubats who always seem WAY farther away than the rest and therefore need a longer stroke.
This is... brilliant.
Love this!
This is kind of an interesting question, because I'm not sure if it's like, "Okay, blank slate and everything will happen the same except this one thing you'd want to change, and you'll have no memory that you already lived this all" or "You keep all your memories, maturity, and personal development, you just get to start over as a baby."
If the former, nope. Too much butterfly effect unpredictability and there's no guarantee I'd be who I am now. (I like myself okay.)
If the latter, maybe yes? It's hard to say, but I've triumphed over a lot of anxiety and the need to people-please over the last few years, and it would be really cool to go back and re-make some formative choices in a way that was actually in alignment with me instead of with everyone around me.
Then again, some of those crappy choices led to finding my partner, so... Maybe not? I wouldn't trade that relationship.
I wasn't allowed to watch much TV growing up and I chose not to watch much TV when I was in college because the commercials drove me up the wall. They're so obnoxious and cloying and overstimulating and there's nothing more annoying than having a show interrupted every ten minutes.
Then... Netflix happened.
And now I watch way too much TV, but I genuinely enjoy it because I feel like I'm able to actually immerse myself in the stories.
It seems strange to me that people pay for cable for the privilege of watching commercials... I feel like it should probably either be paid/no commercials or free/commercials, and I definitely prefer the former.
Whoa, I might actually check this out! Based on the title and Netflix blurb, I got the impression it was going to be kind of a sad "Oh, women are just so darn hysterical" kind of show... But this looks awesome!
I just got Amazon Prime and am SO excited to start this! Seems like a totally different direction for Patrick Stewart.
Joy. Pure, unmitigated joy right here.

Pokemon GOThe “L Throw” – as homu calls it – is a neat little trick that makes catching Pokémon a lot easier – and it’s not cheating either!Aug 17, 2016 at 12:22 PM
