  • Messy Bullet JournalsMessy Bullet JournalsA simple way to make coloring trackers for your bullet journalMay 23 at 1:16 PM

Oh yay :D I love it! For me it doesn't work equally well for different things as well. (This sounds weird... well ^^)

I like that there are so many small parts to color, that I can color something even when I only did a small thing without it feeling like I cheated :)

Oh, nice! I forgot about this way of keeping multiple notebooks together, but I really like it! Thanks for sharing :D

Your etsy link seems to be broken?

  • Messy Bullet JournalsMessy Bullet JournalsI saw this timetable on Boho Berrys videos on youtube. I don't use it every day, but some days when I think I need a more structured plan what to do when I love it. its just making a little color coded box.Apr 19 at 5:13 AM

    :D

I use plans with actual hours of the day only on a few days, where this is really necessary and chances are good that I can actually do it. It stresses me out too much when I don't keep my plans. I do plan things like: 3 hours of work, 2 hours of uni today. And then I assign times to it during the day or I don't. You could do this with your boxes too, I guess. Just visualize the amount of time different tasks should take and write in the actual hours at which they happen later. Oh and I often assign one starting time for doing the todo-stuff for the day, so I actually start doing anything.

You could always just make one and color in a part of it whenever you see a cute cat on the internet ^^ Because why not?

I like that! It gives you more information on one look, than just lists of hours (which is what I use mostly). Maybe I give this a try, at least for days that need planning by the hour.

But what happens if you can't keep that timeline? Say if everything shifts by half an hour? Then I would be stressed out about the nice boxes being all wrong now :/

    Have to think about it..

  • Messy Bullet JournalsMessy Bullet JournalsLiquid Paper and Crossing Things Out (Thoughts on "Mistakes")Dec 25, 2016 at 3:52 AM

Usually I just cross things out, like spelling mistakes or wrong entries somewhere. But there are those moments, when I wish I could rip out the whole page and start over. I started to prepare my new journal for 2017 yesterday and I was tired. So I made a mistake in the monthly calendar for January m) Like... I forgot one day and only realized later. So I had a small series of wrong weekday-date entries. I decided to cut out paper strips from an old journal which is (almost) made out of the same paper and glued it over the wrong parts. I could write on it afterwards and it looks pretty good. I guess it's ok to start the mess early, so i won't be too scared to actually use my beautiful new journal and make mistakes.

I'm not going to participate, because there are already too many important things I have to get done this month.

But I love to follow the # on instagram and here in this group in particular. Because of course I like to look at all the artsy perfect journals, but my heart is still with all the messy ones. I'm sure I will get some inspiration for my 2017 journal adventures ^^

  • Messy Bullet JournalsMessy Bullet JournalsTracking all the things - your ideas!Nov 07, 2016 at 4:36 PM

Oh I love that weekly tracker! I thought of a similar approach but monthly and it seemed just too big and not manageable on a single page. Yours is nice and not overwhelming :) Thanks for sharing!

  • Messy Bullet JournalsMessy Bullet JournalsMy setup, how it works for me & what I missNov 07, 2016 at 3:18 PM

Thank for your input <3 I like your thoughts, they help finding a starting point.

I guess I wasn't very specific because it's so much and I have no idea where to start and on what I should focus. So I just want to read about what others do and what works and wait and in the end I will have some ideas to try and explore.

So just random input about tracking all the things required at the moment :D

I guess it will be interesting to figure out where to put these things. Like in special pages just for one thing or into weekly or monthly or daily overview pages.
