(I put this comment in the wrong place at first. Seems to happen a lot when I use mobile.)
Things haven't gotten worse, which is good, but they also haven't gotten much better. I think I made it to bed before midnight once, and haven't ended up seeing 3AM in a while, but I'm still struggling to get to sleep before 2AM. I'm just the most awake between 11PM and 1AM, so I always feel like I'm wasting my day if I don't use that to my advantage.
Better is the right direction at least! Good luck with next week.
I went to sleep around 1:30 AM last night. Improvement! It's not helping me wake up any earlier, but maybe I have a huge sleep debt to pay off.
Grats on the job!
Urrghghghghgh. That's about it.
I went to sleep at 6AM last "night." Not doing so well there haha.
Ok, I think I have a plan.
My sleep schedule is such complete wack I need to try to fix it even if that didn't go so well next month. So I will try for going to bed at a "decent" time again, but set it to 1AM, and a gold star if I'm in bed before midnight.
I want to prioritize some fitness stuff since it's not freezing up here anymore, so I am going to make myself a little exercise and strength checklist and try to stick with it.
This month is going to be fundamentals month, so I have more energy and time to focus on the stuff I want to do.
Public transit is surprisingly nice for productivity. Good luck for April!
It was definitely the worst month in a while for personal life goals. I tried to start going to sleep earlier and end up going to sleep later than ever. Whoops.
I'm much less busy until July, thank god. So I'll have to use the time wisely. Do you see a more relaxed schedule in your future?
Not my best month. I'm trying to think ahead and considering what I want to accomplish in April instead of moping about it.
Sleep is very nice so I hope it continues too!
I'm glad I dropped pretty much all of my goals early in the month because I haven't had time to even consider them. I've gotten to bed a little before midnight the past couple days so that's small improvement at least. All in all not the most successful of months.
I went to sleep super early yesterday thanks to the last of my sleep aids. It was nice to be able to conk out before 10PM, but my damn cat decided that she wasn't going to have it and harassed me non stop until midnight anyway, so I kept waking up drowsy and angry. So, kind of a success, kinda really not.
Not going to sleep never works for me. I have to wear myself out over the day and force myself to lie in bed for a few hours before falling asleep. When it gets really bad I resort to sleeping pills but I don't like relying on them.
Still haven't gone to bed before 2AM this month. 3 AM yesterday. But I need to get up early for terrible day of packing books tomorrow so maybe today will be the day...
I'm trying to get back into the groove of things after two weeks of chaos and stress. The big work event of the year is over, so now I'm trying to go to sleep at a decent time, but so far 2am has been as early as I can get.
I know that feeling. Get one thing done and suddenly... treat yourself!
Hmm, interesting! I don't do much reading in Japanese online though. Most of my translation is of printed text, but I'll file that link away as a resource.
Uhhh, this month is going to suck. I think I need to give up on the NaNoRenMo idea right away. The Japanese stuff hasn't been started yet, and I was up til 2 yesterday. I am going on a work trip in a few days and the anxiety over that is magnifying my bad habits x100 right now.
Happy birthday!

I can help with check-ins later in the month. It's busy for me up through the 15th or so. You can put me on retainer if jsuttonmorse needs help.
I'm staring at the Japanese sentence I have to translate now. I really don't want to look up all these words but I guess I really should. T_T
I skipped Feb because it was an extremely busy month for me, but as a result I didn't spend much time studying Japanese at all. So it's time to get back on the horse with that. I'm going to try to make it as simple as possible, to increase the likelihood of my doing any of it.
March in NaNoRenMo, which means I'm going to do some visual novel related stuff.
- Translate a sentence of Japanese a day. Just one sentence!
- Post a review of a VN on my personal com here every week.
- And because my insomnia has gotten out of hand in the past month, I'm going to turn my computer off at midnight every night this month.
If all that goes well I will also be trying to make a small game for NaNoRenMo, but I am putting that on the bottom of the priority list. My time frame is:
Week 1 - Have the plot charted out.
Week 2 - Have one full route complete.
Week 3 - Finish script
Week 4 - Clean bugs and finish game.Is it possible? Unlikely! But We'll see how it goes.
It's the home stretch! Good luck!
Good feedback is so precious. Sounds like you've got the juggling game down right now!
What do you mean it's day 4 already? AAAAAAAAHHHHH.
