I am working on the last Iron Druid projects, a novella and the final novel. The last book is called SCOURGED.
I will appear a couple times at the Del Rey booth for sure!
I AM GOING HOME FRIES
Don't know what you're talking about, sorry
- Copy edit A PLAGUE OF GIANTS and BESIEGED in January.
- Write THE SQUIRREL ON THE TRAIN novella.
- Write SCOURGED and finish the series.
- Maybe write two other small things.
- Submit a short story to Fireside.
- Begin work on A BLIGHT OF BLACKWINGS.
- Have fun at cons with friends and spiffy readers.
Pretty mellow. Tasty, too, good caramels. None of that medicinal crap.
Hibiki is the whisky. :)
You say that like I haven't come out there for the past three releases! I'll probably be back there for the release of A PLAGUE OF GIANTS, out next October.
I haven't! Mostly it's beer and poutine!
OK! I got 1063 words today!
But apparently my left eye has decided one of those words was really offensive and burst a vessel, so now I have a headache and a monster eye and I should probably step away from the screen for now. I HOPE YOU WROTE MANY MORE THAN THE PRO OVER HERE. You can do it!
I have an instrumental metal playlist I like to use—metal stuff. Yngwie Malmsteen!
I've read it. Good stuff!
I CANNOT WAIT
I AM GONNA TELL MY COMIC SHOP TO ADD THIS TO MY ORDER EVERY MONTH
I AM CAPSLOCK EXCITED HOMEY
well dang my hair ain't awesome blue or nothin'
OH THAT'S RIGHT I HAVE NO HAIR
but I have my laptop and I will get on my Word Horse and ride with you in November! WE WILL WRITE ALL THE THINGS HOMES
But there's no art. It's just on draft. The squirrels are still getting all the love here.
Andrea I am writing a non-Iron Druid short story and it is fun and coming so easily and wtf I didn't realize this was possible
Be reading every day while you're editing. Stuff outside your normal comfort zone. You want new words and ways of thinking rattling around your subconscious. I've found it helps, anyway. :)
Sorta! I will be writing a novel but Egad not 50k words, I fear.
Nah, I was at a friend's house. :)
Hi! And welcome!
So what you're saying is that I should avoid linking to photos that feature my giant galaxy-spanning head? Heh! I would agree.
I taught high school English for 17 years before writing novels full time and indeed, Prufrock was part of it, but I used to spend three days every year on "The Waste Land" explaining the literary allusions in it, and without fail it blew kids away and crumbled their resistance to exploring poetry. They never thought, before Eliot, that poetry could contain so much.
I AM NOT AS GOOD AT THIS AS YOU ANDREA
TEACH ME ALL YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA SKILLZ
That is a very fine collection there! I am a an especial fan of T.S. Eliot.
Andrea Phillips is posting links to her Instagram pics somehow and it draws in the picture that way.
