The Gameboy Zelda games were the best, and old-school Mario! I gotta say though, Kirby is gonna always hold a special spot in my gaming heart 💙
Okay so I'd kill to have a picture but we were never the best at keeping photos hen I was growing up ^^;
I've always had a thing for gore and scary stuff, I was the bride of Beetlejuice one year, a bloody zombie, dead Disney villains, Sally from nightmare, you name it I made it scary! But when I was around 10 or so my parents thought it'd be "so cute" if I went as an angle! My dad had made me wings that lit up, mom made me a white gown from an old goodwill dress, I looked adorable! But being the little shit I am I was not amused with what my parents had decided for me, I wanted to be scary like my big brother got to be!
My brother being nearly 15 was a scary, gory, blood covered clown that could only be compared to 'it' and I was not amused by this double standard! Why did he get to be so scary and I had to be...cute...
I decided angles can be scary too if I tried hard enough so into the kitchen I went to find some way to make myself scary too, I took ketchup, maraschino cherries, and red jam, anything red I could find! Mixed it all in a big bowl and proceeded to pour this over my head five minutes before the trick or treating was to begin.
Big brother not wanting to take me was thrilled I had made such a mess! He drug me over to my mom exclaiming how I had ruined her work! My dad laughed his ass off while my mom simply stared in horror at my sticky red mess, blonde hair coated in a candy coating of condiments and that gown she had labored for tirelessly ruined. It was a few moments of silence as my dad tried to suppress his laughs, brother simply waiting for the speaking I deserved, and mom staring at me like I'd killed the cat!
After some time she finally some, and for the first time I heard her curse! All she could say was "Well shit, now we can't give that to your cousin."
To this day I still can't even suggest Halloween and nothing without her asking if I'll need her help to ruin costume or if I'll be useing up all the ketchup.
Feel free to hit me up here in pm or there under the same username Kitom, I am glad to be of service if you need any help :3
Most welcome! It is a very useful resource and awesome community ^-^
The newer Zelda games are worth ot, Minecraft for xbox can be fun it's basically virtual Legos with added in elements. If you are partial to shooters of course call of duty and the like are a way to go, but if you are more partial to the rpg style I would decimate ly suggest Twilight Princess to start (the new Zelda) it is different than the old one you would have played but is very worth while as it still has the classic elements with updates visuals ass well as (mostly) easy to learn mechanics/controls. If you want to go for a 2d platformer/sidescroller though and have a PC available Terraria is quite fun and pretty decent on price, no real story so much as it is a side scroller open world to build in (like an old school type of Minecraft if the building aspect intrest you) it also has bosses and progression that minecraft lacks. I don't play xbox so sadly I can't help much there but Nintendo rarely fails in the Zelda department and building games are always relaxing when you want to unwind with low stress :D
Hope you get some good results! I grow food plants mostly soflowers are not really my strong point, but these are what sorts of things my Dad does when he has failing flowers ^-^
Some flowers are difficult to keep indoors, orchids especially are touchey about the way they are kept. For water there is a good method, stick your finger into the soil down into the pot towards the bottom, if it is dry your plant needs more water if its moist you are doing just fine! It is good to check every so often before watering and around midday. It is also good to water on a schedule, for example right when you wake or around lunch time, personally I have an alarm for my plants.
For the sunlight, it is difficult to find that perfect amount of light for an orchid, too much and it does too little and it.. well dies... I would suggest placing it not in a window but as close as you can get where ot gets about an hour of direct light a day and spends the majority of its time in a less direct lighting. That might perk it up a bit.
Finally you might want to invest in a bigger pot with some plantfood of some sort, like a special designed for flowers type of brand, bonemeal styles are supposed to be great for flowers. I suggest something with some room and fresh potting soil mixed with some sort of specialty feed.
Hope any of this helps! These are about the best I know of to help out perking up your orchids. ^^;
I am currently in favor of Dawnhaven but you can't speak in any language outside english and are not allowed to use 'Curse words' or foul language. Personally it took me getting used to but now that I am the community isn't too bad! A few children but also a few adults of various ages, very worth playing. They are not up to 1.9 yet but will be updating when all the server addons are updated, it uses pvp arenas, survival, economy, and loads of other perks, also an Enjin forum/pages. There is a store where trails, clouds, and in game claimblocks as well as ranks can be bought, no need to buy things since the server doean't really limit players in any way gameplay wise. Very fun server and worth a try imo ^-^
