HAHA! My Christmas Addict husband is mourning the loss today. To be fair, I told him it was OK to do it in stages and his beloved outdoor Clark Griswold display still burns bright. But he wanted to get it over with - too cold to take down the outdoor lights.
I save snowmen/generic winter displays to put up around the house so it doesn't look quite so empty to him. It's more work, but for you non-humbugs, it's a painful transition, and it seems to help him. He's still very sad.
As an avowed Humbug, I LOVED Secret Santa - while I want Imzy to grow, I hope it doesn't get too big for this next year. I know it's WAY too much work for Dan, but still. This was TOO fun!
I'm gonna have to try this - and all I know is you sound confident in your recipe. ;)
Love this.....
Hey, you'd be surprised what constitutes Christmas ornaments in a house with three teenage/adult sons. :/
HAHA! That is an AWESOME idea!
Haha! The husband is TOTALLY jealous of this one. ;)
Just wrapped a roll of gaffing tape last night. I should have looked it up first. I had the CONCEPT - the execution was flawed. ;) And before you laugh, the recipient has REPEATEDLY asked for this stuff. #weirdfamily #lovethemanyway ;)
Awww! I love Imzy! And you can even pay it forward to someone near you, if you want, since you didn't get an OFFICIAL Secret Santa!! :D Happy Christmas!
Just tried St. Germain last night. Loved it. Thanks for an extra recipe!
Mailing my Secret Santa present today! :)
I'm so totally doing this!
That's what we always called then growing up. They were definitely remembered when they were done. 😂
This is TOO fun!
I'm Anna.
I love Imzy because it's a safe, happy place. I'm trying over the past several months to cut out negativity and this is one place that stays happy. :) To have a secret Santa that doesn't involve JUST my few coworkers ALSO makes me happy. AND a little scared - I am always nervous choosing gifts, but I can do it! ;)
Me in one word: Dogs. :) I love them. I have them, I rescue them, I foster them, I train them. They, too, help me avoid negativity.
Other interests are reading, travel (with three boys in college, this is a FUTURE interest), movies, computer games, needlework. I'm a web developer by trade, so I spend more time on electronics than I should, but I'm just doing me. ;)
Looking at my list, it would appear I just like doing things at home which is a fair assessment. ;) But I also love camping, sunshine and all manner of outdoorsy things, so there's that.
