I'd definitely agree with that. Accessibility is a huge issue in my state, as there's only two adult psych wards in the entire state, and NOT ONE adolescent one. Sadly, it's getting to the point that people are committing crimes so that they can get into prison because they'll be able to at least get some medication and possibly therapy while they're in-house.
Until it's destigmatized, none of the rest of these options will really be very viable.
That's the biggest reason for med noncompliance in bipolar and similar diseases especially. When you get stabilized, it's easy to start to think that you're fixed/cured/healthy enough to stop taking or decrease your dose; but....it's the meds that are helping you to stay that stable. I hate it.
So is the skin supposed to be resembling that of a crab's shell? That's the part I'm on which I'm confused.
