• Sounds good so far. Different worlds/games will probably want their own communities or corners to play in, but you can make this a good jumping-off point for finding people.

There's a couple challenges. Driving traffic to here, and guiding people to what they're looking for. To get traffic, you probably want to spread your net wide, find similar communities, make them "neighbors", talk about what you're interested in doing. To guide people, let's actually get something started. This post mentioned a world-building thread, so why not start that? Nothing attracts interest like interesting things. I'm happy to contribute to this latter effort, though I'm too new to Imzy to know where to look for existing RP.

  • I enjoy tabletop RPGs, "story games" (in the collective creation, no-GM sense, as well as the others associated with this phrase), indie RPGs as well as bigger offerings, card based storytelling games, and many other things.

I've actually got two indie games of my own: Inept Sorcerers (out for a year or so) and Grand Adventure (currently undergoing playtesting). I'm happy to talk more about those if anyone's interested, and to mention the many excellent games done by people I've been privileged to know.

  • I'm still discovering communities of interest. Thanks for the suggestions, I will head over there now!

  • Is the goal here to have a single RP'ed experience, or to talk about RP, games, etc. in general? It feels like something as broadly named as 'roleplaying' ought to have an equally broad charter.
