This makes sense to me although I don't think this experience is male exclusive.
I find myself isolated and playing video games more often than I used too. Video games don't have office politics where wrong is right and right is wrong. I don't have to worry about office gossip. I don't have to worry about wearing a smiling mask everyday and if I forget smile I get a complaint about my neutral face.
I used to be super ambitious and resilience, but like the blog post mention above, it doesn't pay off. In fact, I find the farther you go in success the harder you are pushed back by peers for no reason other than that they can. And at the end of they day it's always you who is expected to take it and be the diplomatic one. The workplace feel so stagnant and limbo-like and it gets depressing fast.
YYYAAAAAAASSSS. Reminds me of Hitman Go, Monument Valley and Fez. :)
Took me three tries to feed her. The artwork is really well done. As someone who can be as awkward as fuck, it's a pretty accurate representation of the awkward choices and situations you find yourself in just to do something so simple lol. And the feeling of eyes on you, I get that feeling as well.
My only reservation was the main character. I didn't feel motivated to get her oatmeal done. She seems so rude and her projection on her surroundings and the people around her are so mean. Like I kinda get it, I have those moments too, but it didn't feel relatable? I found myself picking the choices that rushed her out of frustration of her.
