I'm definitely in! I've been meaning to reread the series lately.
It really was!
They're so delicious and I can't believe it took me ten years to mix in pecans with my cookies
waves It's hannza, and I am here in this general digital vicinity.
Oh hey, I found you! It's hannza waves
Hi! It's hannza, just as not-hannza (if that makes any sense at all)
hihi! (hannza)
I won't be repeating the experience, you can be sure of that.
- I don't know. I always get the cranky/rude bus driver on my route.
- I think it depends on the job. I've had both short and really long hair while at jobs, and I've seen varying lengths on others as well. My standard is "clean and safe" because there's nothing quite like accidentally setting hair on fire with a bunsen burner.
hihi! Good to see you here! (hannza)
Hi!
He's quite good and I haven't outgrown his YA books like I have with some other books. I recently did a reread of all his Old Kingdom books & novellas in prep for Goldenhand coming out and they've held up for me.
Confusion was an interesting read- not my usual reading material, but the plot kept me going. I think I'll have to do a reread when I'm not on a plane to start getting some of the deeper meanings.
It's good to see you here! \o/
waves hi! It's hannza, just with a different name.
The most recently finished would be Garth Nix's A Confusion of Princes. I'm a couple chapters into Proof by Adam Rogers (science & booze) and I'm in the middle of rereading synecdochic's a howling in the factory yard.
I've had Seinabo Sey's album Pretend on repeat recently, so probably "Pistols at Dawn" or "Words" from that album.
The first fanart I drew was for Code Lyoko, but it ended up on my binder and I had no idea what fandom was back then. The fandom that got me on ao3 and tumblr was Check, Please!, though the first online community I was in was a dedicated IRC room for Questionable Content art & streams, and I'm still friends with people from there. I dunno if that counts as fandom or not.
She/her, and I'll still answer to hannza or Hannah even without having hannza as my username.
The first thing that comes to mind would be the first time I watched the behind-the-scenes dvds from the LotR Extended Editions when I was in middle school. I'd read the books, the appendices, and the Silmarillion, but watching how Middle-Earth went from text to physicality really cemented my interest in worldbuilding in different media. I don't know if I would have ended up spending so much time as a theater tech if I hadn't seen how the movie version of Middle-Earth was made, and I doubt I would be as interested in the process of text-based worldbuilding as I am now. I definitely wouldn't have found something that works as well to act as a counterbalance to my science side.
hi hi!
hi :)
it really is delicious (and now I want to sing the song from prairie home companion)
It's one of my favorites as well!
hi hi!
hi! it's hannza, just under a different name here.
that's something I had never quite thought about before, and I agree that it's interesting. --hannah
waves<< it's hannah! same rhubarbpie as on dw.
it took me a three hour car-ride and two hours at home just to get my first post up, so you definitely aren't alone.
