Nope, I'm from the UK
Hah! For such simple materials that actually looks really great! And thanks for the heads up on the tutorial, that really helped explain it!
Imagine being so fragile that you think moderation, even if wrongly exercised, on a forum is comparable to Nazi Germany...
Can I ask how is it made? Like, what are those circle things? Also, it seems like the ribbon is threaded - I've always wanted to know how to do that pattern, but it's one of those questions on the back of my mind - one of those "I've never really wanted to know how that works until I saw it" kind of questions
Maybe imzy can include this in the communities so for those who want serious discussion of stuff, giphy, gifs, etc.
Perhaps also there could be an option to hide quick 1 setence low effort comments would be discarded in favour of comments with a bit more substance. My worry is that unless the algorithm that detects low effort posts is actually smart, any posts with "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" or random words repeating just to fill up the text box will just null and void the feature.
I thought he was just a fool that was taken at face value on hbomberguy's earlier review, but I went back a month back and found he was a racist fool.
I was a bit worried given the title of the videos but given how hbomberguy had dissected the golden one's videos, I just feel a bit sorry.
[/giphy lets just see where this ends up going]

oh man I completely missed the point of giphy roulette. subscribing now :D
ehh, OTOH it's more exciting, like a dice roll of randomness
Ah, I was doing this via the mobile app - the desktop version is much better

It honestly seems like giphy is a bit of a crap shoot, at least on imzy. I wish there was a way to select the gif beforehand, but with a "i feel lucky" button that does what ir currently does now

It's funny because I actually have difficulty reading my own writing. I mean, I know what the last comment says, but I instinctively read it as "For someone who types on a keyboard only day, my handwriting isn't so band...
... and now line gone and jinxed it" which doesn't make any sense - it's only when I re-read it again and go "... oh..." at the same time when everything clicks.
I DON'T THINK THAT'S DULL AT ALL. IN FACT MY FRIEND, I THINK THAT'S PRETTY COOL.
New to actually posting an image on imzy...
hmbomberguy is the man. It's always a nice surprise to get an email and finding out it is a new hbomberguy video.
Has anyone seen the video where Stan Lee rips into Rob Liefield and Todd McFarlane? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmLFGWAyajU
Not only that, but I'm in the middle of reading "A Brief History of Time" and it's just incredible how intellectual this man is. Seriously, nothing is holding him back from his passion.
I would actively love to see explicit usernames get filtered out. One of the hardest things about social networks is trying to get friends and family to join in, but of course the things you recommend to others say something about you.
I hesitate recommending Twitter to others because of Twitter's quite lax approach to filtering and allowing users to filter on their end because of "free speech" (honestly, you have free speech - a company that blocks you from typing words isn't restricting your free speech, just your audience. And if you can't play by their rules, then don't bother). This is just as true with reddit - I don't think I can recommend that to anyone except close technical friends who understand that people say offensive stuff to get a rise out of people (and people are idiots like that).
Imzy is different. It's the first time where I don't feel like this massive headache just trying to navigate the site for fear of something offensive that might shock others. It's like imzy has respect for it's userbase, and by filtering out explicit usernames, I feel like it's only extending that gesture.

Maybe not, but hopefully it will cause Google and other advertisers to wake up.
I actually have to admire the dev for calling out EA in that interview - I can understand why most devs don't do that but I wish they did.
Just went to check, Tony Blair commands £330k, while Nick Clegg commands £35k. I can definitely see the worth in Clegg. Not sure about Tony Blair - he has the popularity of testicular cancer but I'm not quite sure if he's as worthless as David Cameron.
I love .NET coming to Linux, but SQL Server coming to Linux does make me wince.
