I loved Italy, but my girlfriend and I fell in love with Yodel It! So that's what I had to go with.
Hey there and welcome to Imzy! We have a French community over at https://www.imzy.com/france in case you are looking for something close to home.
Honestly I'm not a huge fan. The lyrics and song aren't bad but I don't like the droning beat and the whole thing doesn't seem to go go anywhere. As it currently stands, I don't think the song will make finals.
It means he isn't sure if his antisemitism or his Islamaphobia is greater and is willing to let Congress tell him which is better.
Amsterdam. The class is chemistry in art so we will be touring a lot of museums.
I'm American. I've lived in a few states but I currently go to school in Ohio. We have a community for The Netherlands /nl but it has been a bit quite for awhile.
Hey Joanne! I'm actually going to the Netherlands for a school trip in May. I wanted to be in Europe for Eurovision, but I won't be there until the next week.
What are you watching on Netflix right now?
Yeah it is incredibly awkward and embarrassing for the both of them.
“This is such a sea change from President Obama who essentially gave us the stiff arm,” Mr. Chaffetz said. “This is just so much better — it’s so interactive.”
I remember a lot of stiff arming the last 8 years, but it wasn't Obama
Welcome! what kind of music do you like?
The problem was everyone sent ballads that year so it was easy to be forgotten. I liked this year's performance too.
You guys were robbed the last few years. Molly Sterling's Playing with Numbers was so beautiful and deserved to qualify.
I'm not actually from Europe. As you can see by my cowboy boots I'm from the US. My mom however, is from England so that has to count for something.
I have a /Eurovision that I'm trying to get off the ground if you like Eurovision. There is also a community for French people at /france
If you are looking for anything else be sure to check out /showcase to see what else is going on here.
I absolutely love Lena. I have all her albums.
More like "If it walks like a goose..."
I wish Congress would open their eyes and do something about this. Regardless of political party and belief, it is NOT good for the country if the White House is openly lying to the people. If they were willing to impeach Clinton for lying about getting oral sex, then where is the outrage over these people spreading lies to get policy passed.
I do not wish to sound like a nut, but this has been the Republican party for the past 25 years. Keep your base uneducated and angry, and then lie and spread misinformation to pass legislation get what you want in. We had it with the Bush administration (Still looking for those Iraqi WMD's), we had it with the Tea Party during all of Obama's administration, and now it has culminated into this. An administration that lies more than it tells the truth and is serving nothing but their own interests. They tricked millions across the country to vote for them and now they are going to yoshi jump them into the abyss since their purpose has been served. http://i.imgur.com/VAfLNHd.gif
The worst part about this all is that the people who will be most affected by this are gobbling up all of these lies. They have but their complete trust to this administration in the belief that they would "drain the swamp" and end corruption and executive lies. Instead, they are seeing the most corrupt administration in modern history (and I know he is less than a month into his term but it is absolutely true) that wants to take away every social safety net their supporters rely on and feed all that cash into Wall Street. It is incredibly sad how these people will be the most affected by Trump's terrible policies, but I can not find any sympathy in my heart for them.
I used to live in Indiana. Lived 6 months in Ft. Wayne when I was 5, then moved to Bloomington for a year and a half. Then I left the state for a bit and moved back to Ft. Wayne halfway through 5th grade and stayed until I finished my Freshman year.
Then coupled with his plans to privatize social security, a lot of people who are going to retire in the next 10-20 years are going to be severely shafted.
For those of you in Ukraine or Big 5 countires, here is your semi-final for voting https://twitter.com/Eurovision/status/826377527576903681
I've never actually been, but I've never met an Estonian who didn't love it
On the topic of making music, I'm trying to teach myself how to play Spanish guitar. It's not easy but I'm enjoying it a lot!
My personal favorite Finnish song didn't make the list unfortunately. När Jag Blundar by Pernilla on 2012 was such a beautiful song that unfortunately did not qualify for the finals. https://youtu.be/43GWoVxRk2Y
Barron Trump hacked the DNC.
Of course. I'm saying that there is no way that some staffer is just enlarging Trump's hands on his-or-her own volition
