• My hometown is the birthplace of poet James Whitcomb Riley, who you may know from the poem “Little Orphant Annie”. Within this poem is this quote:

A-list'nin' to the witch-tales 'at Annie tells about, An' the Gobble-uns 'at gits you Ef you Don't Watch Out! Wunst they wuz a little boy wouldn't say his prayers,-- An' when he went to bed at night, away up-stairs, His Mammy heerd him holler, an' his Daddy heerd him bawl, An' when they turn't the kivvers down, he wuzn't there at all!

The poem goes onto describe children who were kidnapped for disobeying their parents. The poem itself isn't so much freaky as, when you walk into the James Whitcomb Riley Birthplace Museum, you can see goblin eyes staring at you within a closet.

  • Oh, yeah, HD Buffy isn't very popular from what I've seen. And understandably so, I feel like it removes some of that charming Buffy-feel. Plus, the people who edit it into HD just don't seem to care that much? It looks like the jobs are usually pretty sloppy.

  • I read somewhere that the exact same thing happened back in 2014-ish, and sending a report to Netflix helped, actually, so a tweet isn't a bad idea!

  • Once More with Feeling is about five minutes longer than the usual episode, yeah. It's weird, though, because they used to have the full version? I don't really think the HD is worth the five minutes that was cut out in the process...maybe that's just me, I never really ached for HD as far as watching goes. GIF-making? Absolutely. But watching, not so much.

  • It's a pretty recent development, but I'm so glad you're watching it through! Where are you right now? But, yeah, it wasn't this way initially because I've watched this episode several times on Netflix and I just noticed it this time around. I like to sing along to OMWF and it really knocked me off, lol. I'd say if you have Hulu, that version should be untouched. :) If not, I'm sure there are other ways to view it in its entirety.

  • I got my start on forums and Gaia Online, but over the past few years have made the move to Tumblr. It may seem complicated if you don’t know the general how-to of things, but depending on how you go about it (groups vs 1x1 vs mumu vs indie), complication varies. If anyone has any questions about that, I don’t mind trying my hand at explaining. I’ve done all of the above.

I’ve also roleplayed on Twitter via Tumblr-based Twitter RPs (where the main roleplay is basically indexed on Tumblr but all roleplaying is done via Twitter), but lately I’ve gotten a little tired of the Tumblr RP community and would love to find somewhere else to write...

I’d honestly love if roleplay was a little more prevalent here, I can’t seem to find too much, though.
