The fact that it's so difficult to figure out what to do. The powerplay stuff is interesting but not explained in game at all. I have no idea what the engineers do or how to engage with them. I've been away from the game for like a year so all this stuff is new to me.
Also the mission rewards sometimes feel a bit out of balance. It's hard to describe but it seems like the risk vs reward is off. I've done sightseeing missions for a couple of hundred thousand credits where I've been constantly interdicted and chased by NPCs, then the next one will be worth 10x as much but have no challenge at all.
Please show me where it says that in the article, and I'll be sure to tell all my over-30s friends that they're now considered 'old'.
I've applied to join. Maybe I'll actually play some multiplayer of something.
It's not necessary to know a lot about the lore before you start, and the game is still good even if you ignore it. You could play them to get used to the combat, but DS3 has a decent tutorial so that's not necessary either. I would say no you don't have to, but there's no harm.
