I PROMISE TO ADD MORE IN FUTURE POSTS
SO MANY
I have so many unfinished fics. There's one I'm trying to finish that's sort of Gallys, mostly about Alex enjoying his teammates' admiration. I'm blocked on that one because I can't seem to write porn anymore, and because I'm so busy at work. It's so frustrating-- I remember when I wrote fic every day!
Update: totally worth the moments of slight confusion, oh my god. A+
I'm going to try reading this in spite of only having seen little snips of the show.
I was seriously obsessed with that book as a kid, and it was my first ship ever. Also hi hi hi :D
Hiiii! I owe you an email. This is my eternal state of being.
I listened to that song while I read an article coggs sent me on those awful people who "live like Victorians."* It was weirdly appropriate.
- spoiler, I have a lot of feelings about those fuckers.
I... don't know. I want that too? Damn it, interface, make sense
WHY IS THERE LJ IN MY PEANUT BUTTER
Or: yeah, you nailed it.
I am still staring at it with a furrowed brow. It's LJ? But not as easily comprehended? And we're all "communities."
"We are the pinnacle of evolution, this will show you it's true," a curator says, shoving me into a gallery that smells faintly of mold and is filled to the brim with awkward sketches of nude Popeye.
Related: I went to an exhibit in Rome where you were abruptly thrust into a dark room -- that awful velvety dark, completely without light -- and you had to wander around until you stumbled into these alcoves where there were dimly-lit artworks (which were not very good). I engaged in very awkward full-body contact with an older lady. We were in the dark, but I could feel that she, too, disapproved somewhat of the goings-on.
HELLO
HELLO!
1) last thing read: I'm working my way through Gayle Salamon's Assuming a Body for my intro chapter. It's clearer than other theorists, and it's really interesting... but it's still theory.
2) favorite song: Vince Staples, Norf Norf
3) first fandom: Little Men by Louisa May Alcott. Nat/Dan is still one of my favorite ships.
4) pronouns: they/them preferred, no worries about slip-ups or whatever.
Is that a mumps-swollen penis in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
