Heck yes! I'm a big coffee head, I roast my own beans and drink more than can possibly be healthy.
I went to tap yes but the poll moved between my finger making contact with the screen and registered my vote for no.
So, one no vote was unintentional from me, but that might say something in and if itself.
I live somewhat near to where this happened. It's really shocking that the guy was able to disarm the bailiff like that. When that kid at the Trump really tried the same thing, he was easily stopped.
I guess on that note it might make sense to leave it. I noticed that even after the sticker contest announcement, many posts were not being commented on. I guess maybe in the interest of encouraging site activity it would be better to not add additional barriers to commenting, even if it's just a single click.
I think that might clean things up a bit in the feed. That way if someone wants to participate in comments, they can open the overlay, otherwise they just get the preview in the feed, thereby taking up less space per post in the feed.
So far I think it's great.
One bit of UI/UX feedback though, I would suggest that perhaps clicking outside of the post area close the overlay, rather than having to click the button in the upper right corner. But who knows, maybe accidental clicks closing the overlay would present a usability problem.
In a lot of ways, including the soundtrack, thematics, and psychological impact, I found this film to be similar to Under the Skin, another unusual and phenomenal film.
me too thanks
I think it's still relatively sparse here. I've been not commenting as much as I've been posting. I think the imzy platform lowers the barrier to posting to the point where it seems like back when I was using tumblr, that being more people would post than would reblog with notes.
I found out about imzy from the hacker news post where everyone was super upset about it being a "non-toxic" platform, acting all chicken lettle about "muh sensorships". But after being on reddit and 4chan and HN for years it sounded like a welcome breath of fresh air to me. So i requested an invite and here I am.
Shitposting. Shitposting never changes.
