• I really liked the first 1/3 of the movie. After that, it just went downhill and became unceasingly average. I really didn't like Hemsworth's character (although Kristen Wiig's interactions with him are hilarious). He's a dumb guy, but he's so dumb that he can't tell the difference between seeing and hearing. That's not a thing that happens. I expected to like Kate McKinnion's character the most, but in the end I disliked her the most. I think she's playing a movie-fied version of "autistic". She has few lines (which all seem to be said in a different funny voice each time) and otherwise she's grinning, mugging, and dancing through every single shot. The performance makes me think that they knew the script was weak and so they tried to punch up anything they could.

  • Who is us? It is you and your article I am responding to. Bad article. You make a point of saying that he is not just for higher taxes on the wealthy, but he's also for wealth redistribution. Yeah. That is what higher taxation is. You attempt to paint him as much more radical than someone who wants to just raise taxes. He also wants to redistribute wealth. You write in circles because you smugly believe that whatever you write is by de facto correct.

  • These all sound like great reasons to believe that Sanders should move more toward Corbyn's position. The accusation of anti Semitism here is an all too common tactic of Israel supporters. Is it your position then that those who support the Israeli government are themselves perpetrators of war crimes, responsible for the death of hundreds of unarmed citizens, supporters of obtaining nuclear weapon technologies from racist regimes, and illegal colonists of the West Bank? Of course you're not. Why would you support anything that doesn't conform to your exact point of view?

  • No one asked you. I think it's pretty rare indeed that someone who engages in creative work of any kind thinks "I wonder if a right wing freeper would take exception to this character. I'll ask him." Trying to hard to do what? Not doing the same thing over and over? Having black skin, being a female, and homosexuality are not affectations chosen to endear oneself to the world at large (evidence being your ignorant comment) or to seem hip (as it seems you are implying).

  • I'm thinking of getting X-Com 2 with the Steam Controller. And Helldivers.

  • I've been on the Insider Fast ring for a while and am fairly underwhelmed by the changes. The dark theme is nice, but hardly necessary to wait for a large update. Same goes for the Edge improvements. Why not just release these as weekly updates? The pen improvements are a sad joke. The Ink Workspace is a link to other apps (that are not good). Why? Why not work in in-line ink notes in the Activity Center? For some reason, I thought Windows would be including the ability to write directly into input fields with a pen rather than activating the pen keyboard. Maybe this was just a dream?

  • Enterprise isn't eligible for the free update. Only personal copies (basic and Pro). The second part is correct for a personal copy (except you'll probably not see a key screen in the first place). What you should do if you're clean-installing Windows 10 on a personal copy is let the computer update to 10. Then do a format and clean install. After the upgrade, you should be registered and any subsequent installs will automatically update. At least that has been my experience on 2 computers.

  • Its kind of ridiculous. A 40% price increase for nothing new. Especially for non-Apple users (Evernote is awful on any non-Apple platform).

  • They have a problem acquiring new paying users. Basic users were never going to pay anything for the service. Their leaving is inconsequential. They only cost Evernote money. Evernote doesn't run ads. Having a large userbase for them means nothing. Too bad then that they raised the price for the existing users without announcing any new features for them. I used Evernote (and paid for Premium) about 2 years ago. I recently checked back in and found that nothing had changed really. Not surprising considering the layoffs. Being in maintenance mode when you charge users subscription fees seems short-minded.

  • For any computer you buy (this would not apply if you build your own), the key is in the firmware and will be still be when you do a clean install. You will most likely never see an "Enter Key" screen. If you do, you can use a tool that extracts the key from your computer. Windows 7 and 8 keys are supposed to be able to activate 10.

  • My understanding is similar to yours. That it is a neutral zone between the white and black lodges.
