• I do, too! Poor feet. We just automatically categorize them as icky. XD

  • I'll see if I can find a copy some where! (Video Game art totally caught me.)

    Thanks for sharing!

  • I'm jealous. That's amazing! I skimmed through your inktobers and I (strangely) love that labyrinth. I feel like I'm lost in it and it's kind of scary!

Do you have any artists you admire or want to work towards?

  • Sweet! I have a soft spot for 'em. My bank says no, but my heart says yes. Gunna see if I can get a cheapo copy from somewhere tomorrow I guess.

I actually talked to my significant other about that while I was replying and we agree on that! (The game play was different and the story was great, plus we got to play it together.)

You won me at choose-your-own-story! I've always loved playing visual novels and I recently found Life Is Strange. I wish there were more like it. I'll give it a shot (I think I added it to my playstation library at some point when it was free. And I think they're cheap, too, right?) Which would you recommend me first if I don't already have one?

  • Did it look any good? I'm sooo wanting to play it! Which Fallout and/or AC is your favorite? (Mine is FO3 and AC: Brotherhood.) I love story and lore, I can deal with bad graphics most of the time. (I mean, all the older games are great considering pizza feet syndrome.)

I've heard of them but I've never tried 'em! How are they?

  • You're so helpful!! Thank you soooo much! I'll start queuing them around then! I hope it picks up and starts getting more posts/comments from others.

  • Thanks! (I thought maybe posting in the morning so that it's floating around all day but I kind of don't think about the feed thing. So, good idea!) When's about peak time? I don't really have a sense of time any more, honestly.

  • Added! (Tags: Inspiring, Inspiring Artist, Digital, and Traditional added. Should be good?)

I have a ... few folders on my laptop of inspiration! (and a ton of tutorials, too).

  • Thanks! I'll make a tag for it and adjust the descriptions. Awesome idea!

  • Welcome and hello, David! Good luck on your adventures and I hope something here is useful to you! Thanks so much for introducing yourself! I've never taken a formal art course, either, besides high school and back, so we're in the same boat, I think. So, good luck and have fun and try not to get frustrated(?)!

That's pretty neat that you're doing a Stutz Bearcat (I had to google it. And you got me. I hate linear lines and structural structures and automobilic automobiles. Anything that isn't human, really. I am impressed. I'd lose my patience!)

Let me be honest, I think most people hate feet. And hands. And probably faces, too. (That barbie syndrome. I have it, probably.)

Awesome job at doing in the Inktober! I hope you share your work here! And don't be nervous, that's the fun part! (Mine would look like a ton of hatched over scribbles.)

Sorry this came out so long. Anyways, welcome and have fun! And feel free to post any findings or your work you want to share!

TLDR; Hi, welcome, glhf. I'm jealous of your patience for drawing cars, I suck at everything but people. We all hate drawing the important parts of humans, probably. I can't do inktober because I'm lazy, so awesome in the participation! +1 I'm still rambling in my tldr; Post any tuts or work you want to share.

  • Aw! That's awesome! Do it, please! I would if I could but at the moment we're down to one T.V. so I can't boot up my playstation 3. (My GC version is lonnnng gone.) I totally understand, though. I loved all the designs! (I'd totally love to see that game redone into a Final Fantasy level of prettiness.)

Cycle between ALL THE GAMES! Right? Right? Maybe.

It might be another month before I get around to Zestria (looking at my hours next week and the dent my poor bank just took. Sigh).

  • Ah, maybe I should try it. (A ton of the tutorials I first came across were very line art heavy. My weakness! AH!)

    I will try to!

I like Zelda (of course), Tales of Symphonia (Zestria is my on list!), Fallout, Assassin's Creed, and ... well, there's a ton more, but I'll try anything! I'm not to picky, to be honest, as long as there's an okay story and decent game play. What about you?

  • Ahhhh! You're so good! I love your style! /jealous (I might try your style! The lack of defined lineart makes me happy.)

I totally understand about dA. (I feel the same about pixiv and all the other art ones. Ugh.)

I love Fire Emblem! But I only got to play Path of Radiance and it's sequel, Radiant Dawn. I totally loved it, though.

Oh, I saw the amazing Kindred fan art! I love her design sooo much. It's a shame you can't play, though. (I have a toaster laptop myself. I can barely play the game, but for some reason I can't quit it.)

  • This song

SOMEONE was super cruel and showed it to me. Sigh.

  • That's awesome, what's your favorite to do fan art for?

I'm understanding about indecisiveness. I'm... really bad at that, too. Ha! That's awesome that you actually enjoy it, though! It's good to find subjects you like doing.

That's great, I just got into it early this year, but I feel the same. I'm so off-and-on about art (that's why I started this, so that I feel like I have to stay consistent! At least finding good resources).

I used to post on Deviant Art under a different name but deleted the account, so I started this account when I decided to take this more seriously. I don't post on tumblr because I feel like it won't have any comments (which isn't a bad thing if you just want exposure, but I like talking... obviously! Look how long my comment is already! HA). Otherwise, I have a list of art-y websites that when I start doing artwork that I want to participate in, though. Eventually.

    How about you?

  • Hi, Nadia!! Welcome to Learn to Draw! (wish I had come up with something more clever.)

That's awesome! I've started in digital art myself! I understand the struggle, though. But, I hope you can get through and improve! What do you like to draw and how long have you been doing digital art?

I hope so, too! Feel free to share anything you find! Thanks so much for introducing yourself!

  • I like the sound of it's name, anyways. Ooh, if it's made with Xenoblade, I'll try it!

That sounds pretty darn good. I do, too! I never played Graces but Symphonia was my first and by far one of my top 10 games! I love it sooo much! I can't remember how many times I've played it! I heard it's realllly good, I certainly will share if I get to it first! You let me know what you think if you get to it, too! Just waiting on a good check before I go and buy it.

  • Ah, maybe that's why! I'll find the older ones if I can and give them a shot.

I actually finally got to play Link to the Past and it was pretttty awesome! One day I'll get to play 'm all! I really liked Minish Cap, though. And I haven't heard of Breath of the Wild! (I stopped tracking after Phantom Hourglass.)

I'm currently playing League of Legends, Fallout 4, I'm wanting to finish Life Is Strange, and I'm going to be picking up Tales of Zestria probably! Been eyeing it soooo hard. What about you?

  • Awesome, Hawk it is then!

I did, too! I didn't finish it either, but maybe I should one day.

I'll look into it! Because, while I love my intuos, I'd like to try drawing directly on the screen one day.

I'll have to try one of them if I can find 'em. I only got to try one of the newer ones on the PS3 when I had GameFly. And it wasn't bad, but I didn't really get into it. So maybe I'll have a better impression on them when I try the older ones. Which Zelda game was your favorite? (Mine was Majora's Mask. But I have a soft spot for all of them except the first two and the most recent ones. I haven't been able to try them.)

  • Thanks! I hope I can think of the right tags to make. (I actually just figured out the tagging function right before you made this post).

  • Hi, HawkguyZero! (Should I call you Hawkguy? Or just Hawk?)

That's really awesome! (I started with Inuyasha and Pokemon, but I totally remember watching those. I think that just put my age down.) That's actually a really awesome story! I wish I had that kind of motivation. I'll take a peek at it.

I'm trying to transition to digital, but it's been rough. Do you have pen pressure sensitivity on your Surface?

That's awesome! I love Zelda, but I never had a chance to get into Castlevania. Which one would you recommend?

Thank you, I'm glad, too! I hope this helps you, too, then! And maybe make a few friends, too. :P

  • Hi, and thanks! It turns out I love cats, too! Thanks, I'm trying to learn to get better! I hope it helps you if you decide to come check us out!

  • Thanks, I thought so, too! (I mean, between that and feet, hands are more appealing!) Plus, our poor hands and the pain they go through.... Sheesh.

  • Neighbored! :D

Thanks a ton! I hope it becomes super helpful. Q.Q

  • Thanks! (Same here, I'm pretty bad at... a ton of stuff. XD) I'm super glad it'll be helpful! Let us know how it goes~
