Yes! I aim to misbehave, and I intend to keep on doing it all my life. :D
Or, we can hope that the norm for what's considered acceptable elderly woman behavior has widened somewhat in 40 years, so no one raises their eyebrows at grannies shooting virtual baddies.
That's great to hear, that I'm not alone in my corner of the world! ;)
And thank you! I'm doing my best to weather this cold, with blankets, hot tea, yarny crafts, and helpfully purring kitties. (I know, this is grandmother level of coping. Might have to weigh that up with some video games, when I feel up for it.)
I am always either early or late to the party, I feel, since I'm on European time, and I have a feeling most of you are either American or Australian. But anyway, yes, some pep-me-up would be appreciated! I am home with a cold, the weather is classic Swedish late fall (that is, you don't want to go outside unless your clothes are both warm and waterproof), and I'm generally bored but don't have enough energy to do something about it.
Hi! I'm Jenny. I think you can blame most of my current obsession with Gigolas (and Bagginshield, for that matter) on Sansûkh. I read the whole fic (well, what what the whole fic then) in February and fell so hard I still haven't been able to get out of that particular pit.
Not that I'm complaining. :)
Anyway, what I love most about Gigolas -- and there are so very many things to love -- is the respect and regard they have for each other once they get over the elf and dwarf thing. How both of them are just "See this person here? This is the best person in all of Arda, and don't try to tell me differently."
