looks like i found out how i'm spending my snow day :)
i've just recently discovered the term "metroidvania" thanks to Axiom Verge.
i absolutely love indie games, i'll have to check this out!
Hello! I'm currently sitting in a quiet, warm salon drinking coffee. We had full books today, but we also got a fair bit of snow and ice- so no one came! I'm doing some office work in the quiet :) there's something magical about watching snow fall while sipping a delightfully hot, sweet cup of coffee <3
!!!!!!
@thegoodladypendragon 09/18

Hello, Newton! Welcome! I'm not tall...nor am I small! I'm just somewhere in between :)

you are more than welcome friend :) i don't know anything about photography, so I'll have to keep an eye out!
yes to the mug! yes (hopefully) the lens! is it this set?
I thought it was supposed to be a couple different lens type things! Let me know if that's not how it came!!!
Hey Friend! I know this isn't typical protocol since this is secret santa- but since you were having some trouble with packages being stolen I wanted to let you know that your package is out for delivery to the updated address!!
Yesssssss!! Each little tiddly bit Kojima has given us gets me so hyped! And Mads Mikkleson?!?!?!
aghhh!!! i just wanna boop her snoot! my bub looks so much like her!
<3 i love doofy sweet babies!
So beautiful! It's so grey and bleak where I'm at!
I am so ready to find out more about this game. I was screaming over the trailer at E3- I'm so excited Kojima is making magic again! Especially with all the hell he went through.
This! Ever since I was a small girl I have wanted to travel to Japan- and I blame it on beautifully drawn amines :)
How neat! This will be fun! Everything is super glum and grey here during January and February- so an exchange will brighten that up!!
Love this!! How wonderful! Amazing job, @carelia !
Hey All! I'm Susan. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I love secret Santa even more!
I'm a fan of all things silly :) My desk is covered in kawaii cats, hotwheels, harry potter, anime, and star wars things (i just added a jabba tsum tsum to the collection) along with the random Wu Tang clan stickers. I love stationary, and take great pride in my penmanship. I love Japan, hair and makeup, toys, and all things happy :D
When I'm not working, you can usually find me playing video games (Zelda, Soulsbourne games, old ps1/ps2 games), reading (fantasy, manga, YA), doodling, chasing my cats, or avidly searching for my dream car ('69 or '70 Chevy El Camino) that I can restore!
Hey! So many of us are coming from reddit! I love it here, so far, and I hope you will, too!
Hey friend! Welcome! Totally not a bot, just a caffeine fiend! Hope to see you around here!
Hi friend! Welcome
Hello friend! What like @BabuM I'm interested in your art! What kind of art do you like? What kind of art do you like to make? Welcome, Shuizid! Hope to see you around!
I live in a small-ish city. We have a few things that bring in a lot of travelers- there's a local salvage/antique store that has their own show, an eccentric art museum, our civic centers get a lot of big name concerts/entertainment shows/business events. Everyone that visits us always goes to the big monument for which we're named, or the big fancy restaurant, or our mall. But they are totally missing the best parts of our city!! There's a little teeny tiny place downtown where you can get the BEST chili, the messiest burgers, and man oh man if you mix 'em both it is DIVINE. The place only seats maybe 8? 6? And they take cash only. It has been there forever, and will probably be there forever! On top of that we have a local coffee shop that may not look like much, but it is great!!! Whenever I do a gift exchange and the person likes coffee, I always send them some! The craziest thing to me about visitors of our city, though- the people who come to that salvage/antique store with their own show- sometimes they completely miss the amazing "village" that's literally a walk away from the antique store. I may be biased because I live in that village, but still! We have the best places to eat, two amazing dive bars (complete with weekend karaoke), a tiny theater that has been there since my nana was a little girl going to watch cartoons on saturday morning there, and so much more! I always try to point people in the right direction of all of the best places!
