That's what I figured. So theres a monetary incentive to create a community merely to be the "owner" of it rather than contribute to existing communities.

I think my confusion is linked to not understanding how tips work. Are they distributed to the entire community if one individual isn't selected?
In other words I believe the users are going to do something like "Linux 1" "Linux 2" "Linux 3"... whatever rather than joining the Linux community. Unless I misunderstand something whereby the WHOLE community gets the tip? Then how do fractional cents work?
