Yeah, that was my first thought. I just didn't know if I missed some kind of plot development involving Ant-Man or something, or, like, if this was when she lost a physical form. Seems like I was overthinking things.
Also can I add that this puts a whole new spin on the Pixies' title "Nimrod's Son (Sun)" (this joke would work better if you could hear me say it and also if referencing EPs from the 90s counted as pop culture jokes)?
Of course, what are the terms of the Sentinels victory against the sun? I mean, are they going to put the sun into a jail or a labor camp Days of Future Past-style? I sure hope so.
I've been listening to this podcast since the beginning, but I've never posted before. X-Men was for a long time one of my least favorite Marvel comics, but you guys have really gotten me deep into it in a way I wasn't before...I've been trying to catch up on my reading. I'm excited to be a part of a positive community!
