• I agree with Xhareen's weasel answer -- use whatever tense feels most comfortable.

Myself, I use past tense like 98% of the time. There's been a few times when for some reason a story just felt better in present tense, as well as once or twice when I used it in flashbacks to help differ them from the main timeline, but generally I feel most comfortable in past tense and default to that.

As long as you're not jumping back and forth between tenses in one section, usually it doesn't really matter which you use.

  • All of my toons are on Jedi Convenant. I've... 23 currently and am like an evening's worth of playing from having at least one character of each class at max level. (Am currently working on getting an bh maxed out, he's at level 63, already have all the other classes covered.) I've three characters that I've finished KotFE with, and a few others in various parts of it.

I'm about evenly split between Imperial and Republic I think, though I've never sat down and counted it out exactly. My legacy name's Shadowsflight and I am currently amusing myself by creating and levelling new characters based on and named after the characters of Vox Machina on Critical Role.
