• I check QC every day, as well as XKCD every other day. Used to check mspaintadventures.com every day as well, but Homestuck is over as of last month, so it'll probably be a while until it updates again. Once a week-ish I check paranatural, which I highly recommend to everyone. It updates at non-regular intervals though, which makes it kind of a hassle, and it's not very long, but it's slowly making its way forward.

  • Yeah pretty much same. Got a streak of 8 corrects I think, then dropped quickly. 9/15 total

  • 2 sounds like a great option

  • I don't actually think I can choose, I love them all, so instead of voting I'll just write a tiny bit about why I like them.

Throughout the years, the one character in Homestuck I've felt most connected to was John. Maybe not so much now as I used to, but I can still relate him to how I was. A bit goofy, always (at least trying to be) nice and friendly, liking bad stuff unironically. Also the teeth.

Now, while I love Rose, she is a the bottom of the Beta kids. I'm not entirely sure as to why that is (might just be I subconsciously connect her to someone I don't like). And when she's not droning on in the GameFaqs fashion, she is very funny. Especially whenever she talks to Dave. Actually, I think it might just be that I remember the characters mostly as they were at the end of Homestuck, and she wasn't even a huge part of that. idrk.

Dave is hilarious. I still remember the first time I read "an obscenely long coarse kermit cock is being dragged across my anguished face" and I 100% died of laughter. The shenanigans at Dave's house was really what hooked me on the comic. And I can't help but love the character who is the I-don't-want-to-be-a-hero Hero. And of course his whole talk with Dirk was absolutely amazing and one of the best parts of the entire comic.

Jade reminds me of a few of my favourite people. She's cheerful, and very intruiging at the beginning, what with all the mysterious fortune telling. She really got the short end of the stick though, constantly being isolated from everyone else. If there ever was anyone I'd want to be more like, I think it might be her (personality wise).

ninja edit: haha feels kinda like i said a whole bunch of nothing :p

  • this place is as good as any. if anyone is up to play OW anytime (PC) just hit me up (battletag: Wysp#21355)

  • There'll probably not be any cross-platform (as sometipsy said, at least no PC/Console) since console players will be absolutely annihilated. On PC there's a large population, at least.

  • It was a while ago. Maybe not necessarily leader, but a guiding role. I think it was something like using the knowledge of breath (in this situation) to guide/lead their team to victory. Maybe akin to an overmind or something? I'm not entirely sure, and I can't remember where they got it from. If anything, I would argue that the role is more of a watcher type deal (Sollux being able to overlook both the Red and Blue team, and I'm really grasping at straws here but Meulin watching over people (as in shipping) or something. Idrk

  • I've pretty much always felt very good about Mage of Breath. I think I got it in a quiz or something at some point, but after reading up on theories and stuff I felt it really suited me (although I can't help but feel a lil bit "special snowflake"-y for being a Mage since that is the class we know the least about). Unfortunately, a lot of my classpect knowledge has kind of sippered away, so I don't really remember exactly what has been theorized about Mage and Breath. But IIRC the general consensus was one who knows (and suffers from) freedom/change? It's often described as a leader type thing as well?? I should probably get back into that stuff, but I still feel connected to it (that might just be habit though, haha)

  • I am very excited to see what new thing he can come up with. And I know that it isn't really reasonable, but it'd be fun to go back to user submitted commands. And as much as I absolutely love Homestuck, I hope the next project takes a big step away from it. If only for his own sake. I wouldn't really say that I'm hyped about Homestuck 2.0 or Hiveswap, but I am looking forward to it somewhat. Holding my thumbs that it exceeds my expectaions.

  • Yeah I don't ship a lot of stuff at all but something about them just strikes a chord with me

  • I don't think they ever had an explicit interaction in-comic. Maybe in the meteor game, but I don't think so. And then it's probably implied in the treasure hunt ship (the interfishin) since they're at least standing close to each other there lmao

  • i am,,, peronsally b etRAYED..... no love for arafef?? its got everything you could want except for any dialog, interaction or anything at all

  • I'm not really sure how exactly to format the leader application but I feel if nothing else it needs a "Why do you want this position?" question (maybe this one is obvious enough not to suggest lmao). And idrk how many people is a good amount of leaders, but I'd like some diversity there. The swedish homestuck facebook group keeps mods of different age groups (from early teens to late twenties, iirc), so something like that maybe?

And I second what OD and kenmario said

edit: the early teens to late twenties is not an arbitrary limit, it's just that the oldest people arent thirty yet
