What about Fool's Gold, the 2008 version with Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson? It's got action, adventure and a bit of romance. Nothing too complicated, just pure enjoyment. Here's the trailer: https://youtu.be/oiCbo_0s3mg
You're welcome!
This is the trailer with soccer player Neymar Jr., from Barcelona Football Club. He has a very brief moment in the trailer.
I had it as a starter, followed by a salad. But on a very hot day, when you're not too hungry, you could have it as a very light lunch.
I'd recommend The Asphalt Jungle, fantastic crime film with a superb Sterling Hayden and a great but sparse score by Miklós Rózsa and Key Largo (Humphrey Bogart again).
Those are all great John Huston movie's with Humphrey Bogart. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre is amazing. Leave it to John Huston to depict human greed and decadence.
The writing of movies in the 1940s defined characters and it was interesting, challenging and amusing. Have you seen "To Have and Have Not" (1944), another Bogart movie with great dialogue.
See you there. And may the Force be with you!
