Anime Club - Mob Psycho 100: Ep.2 discussion
- what do you think of the new characters?
- did you like the episode? why?
- Do you like Mob? do you find him relatable, though he's an esper? What about Reinen?
etc etc. Discuss anything you'd like! ^_^

I like Mob more than Reigen because he seems so honest and cute. And I agree that he's just a good kid trying to fit in. I liked it when he joined the club. I wonder how his relationship with the other members will turn out though.
Mob is the most innocent, earnest cinnamon roll, I'm glad you like him. (internally i'm screaming "YES PLZ LOVE MY SON LOOK AT HOW KIND HE IS.")
"cinnamon roll" 😂
I love Reigen. He's a conman, he pays Mob too little, but he's a damn good masseuse, and someone so confident as to wing these things is attractive
save me from myselfI also love Mob. Just a good kid, trying to be a part of society as best he can without hurting anyone. I think he is relatable in that he just wants to fit in, regardless of him being an esper.
I love the Telepathy club, especially Tome (Tome VS Reigen was beautiful), and the Body Improvement Club are really chill guys. Student council doesn't seem as nice a bunch.
I got annoyed when the perv ghost was like "you're just like me," to Mob. Mob isn't violating privacy because he can't connect with people. But then I've to remind myself, that's not the point of this, it's to prompt Mob to participate more, to join a club. That said, smudgey-oil-paint animation when he'd been defeated was so cool.
Overall though, fun episode, some great voice acting and animation, and we get to see more of Mob's life at school and working for clients.
the smudgey oil paint was reeeeally cool, i was expecting another tiny glowing soul again. this show's animation keeps taking me by surprise!
Apparently a lot of time was put into the smudgey oil pain (as you can see in the ED. Pops up a few other times. BONES have done some really great stuff with MP100, animation wise. (storywise too, they've mixed up the sequence of some stories in the manga to make for a more engaging viewing experience)
yeah-- the ED is really impressive
