Attack on Titan - Episode 11
Uh oh, looks like this gamble might be going south -
What do you think of Commander Pixis? What does he mean that the titans aren’t the only danger that they face?
Do you like the general pacing of the season? What’s your favorite part of the show so far? Least favorite?
What do you think of the character development of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin over the past few episodes?
As always, feel free to discuss anything ya want! The world's your oyster ^-^

I like Pixis. He can make me laugh, and gives great speeches. He also seems to know a lot about how people think and about the world. Good leader material, with an amount of eccentricity you come to expect in anime.
The general pacing is good. I loke that it keeps you on your toes. You don't know when something big is going to happen. It makes the show more interesting.
Armin has had the most development so far with his increased confidence and how smart he's shown himself to be. I'm looking forward to learning more about Eren's powers. I think he'll develop a lot then.
Pixis has confidence, but doesn't quite motivate fully well. He delivers a good emotional argument... but then allows people to waver from his vision (if you want your loved ones to feel the same fear, leave....so i'm asking you to die here). Both the carrot and the stick, perhaps?
This show uses quite a few more stills than i remember, during dialogue.....I'm not sure whether I like it. It's pretty but still more stopgap then atmospheric. That said, all the other action is great enough to make up for it. Like DAMN, the Maneuver Gear shots at 21:00 were incredible.
I liked this episode's display of the many soldiers involved in war. I know i've said this before, but I appreciate the emphasis on collateral damage in this show. So very different from other action shows that gloss over the emotional impact on people who aren't the primary characters.
