all things considered, things have been chill
sorry for the radio silence, i actually had too many things i wanted to post (like articles and my own crap) that I got paralysed into not doing anything useful. but elsewhere i did promise to write up a proper giveaway post -- i finally cleaned up my vanity and workdesk in my bedroom!! It only took me 1+ years!!! I've done one earlier in the year, but apparently, lord i have too much crap. Rather fitting for the festive season i suppose.
(unfortunately i don't have the mental bandwidth for posting stuff through the mail, so only for people who can meet me in the Klang Valley, specifically PJ/Bangsar.)
I'm pricing these at RM5 an item.
[top pic, from top left, clockwise]
- Monthly planner Oct 2016-Feb 2018. I did use the Oct page sorrrrrrryyyyyy. Bought this in Bangkok. Might be a local stationery brand?
- Pilot mini fountain pens ink cartridges, in green, orange and blue.
- 2 Leuchtturm 1917 journals/notebooks. A6 sized iirc. I swear I've only opened the plastic to the teal one, but I haven't used it. i got these in amsterdam, trekked for almost an hour from the city centre because that's where the nearest bookshop that stocks them were at. ended up buying other crap from other shops along the way. >.<
- Random notebook from Malaysian stationery brand, it's 100% recycled from palm and other green waste iirc
- J. Herbin inks. Have been used but over 60% - 75% full. Vert Empire (forest-y green), Poussiere de Lune (gray-based purple), and Lie de The (warm tea brown)
- Lamy ink in blue, barely used.
- Noodler's Ink in Singapore Esplanade (deep jade green). very nice colour, and it's a special limited edition for the Singaporean market. Have a tendency to be leaky, but otoh as a Noodler's ink, it's water-resistant at least.
- Lamy ink cartridges (fits Safari and AL-Star) in black.
[second pic, also clockwise from top left]
- Clinique's Chubby Stick for Lips, Maraschino Cherry
- Sephora's Lip Cushion (peachy cool/neutral tone)
- Tarte's contouring stick.
- Estee Lauder's lip palette. I've used the peach one quite a bit.
- Sephora's lipstick (matte; fuschia)
- Monthly planner inserts, fits A6 in half
- A container of claude monet-themed colour pencils with bonus my test handspun lololol
- tarte's Amazonian Clay finishing powder (translucent)
- (above that) Stila's Watercolour Blush in Water Poppy
- (to its left) Sephora blush in peach-pink
- (below tht) travel-sized Benefit's Roller Lash
- (below the Tarte powder) Tarte's eyebrow gel (no applicator soz)
- (next to it) the two Make Up For Ever's primers. Travel-sized one is for smoothing and priming, the full-sized one in lavender is for colour correction (if u feel u have a sallow complexion or want to brighten but not want the pink one)
- (the two powders above and next the primers) Moonshot's powder colour blocks. you can use this for wherever. One is golden beige and the other is coral-peach.
- Kate eyeshadow kit. I really like this, but in the end I don't roll with glitter/pearlescent as my look. This one is in golden-brown combo.
What other things I have been doing? Aside from spinning, I've also been writing up notes from my short jaunt into comparing the alphabet sets of other Arabic script-using languages. You might recall I posted a version of it earlier. This was earlier last week:
and also for jokes, i recorded myself singing tht new song from Zayn and Tswift.

Chup tarte powder pls!
sorted!
Nice notes! I love linguistics, this is all super interesting.
(If you later obtain the mental bandwidth to ship things and still have those notebooks...)
haha thanks! i got into looking this up because i was trying to read some urdu lyrics and i tripped on the character set. i had assumed we'd been using the same replacement characters etc ahhhhh
unfortunately i didn't realise those notebooks would be so popular! it's all taken now ^_^;;;
Well, now you know! It's really cool how writing systems diverge like that.
And oh well, it was worth a shot!
