Beekeeping Guides
Does anyone have any good beginning resources for those interested in beekeeping? I can find a few books at the library, but I want to know if anyone has a favorite.

There is a really great video series called Honey Bees and Beekeeping: A Year in the Life of an Apiary by a professor at UGA. It seems kind of cheesy at times but it is full of great information.
My dad has the beekeeper's bible, a very large book about all things bee! he really likes it. He's also in a local beekeeper's club/organization. You should try to find one near you!
I would see if there is a course for beginners anywhere near you, or ask an experienced beekeeper if you can tag along on some inspections. Reading is all well and good, but being in the bees are so much better.
