The comments on these types of articles are the absolute worst. Drivers irrationally bitch about how cyclists don't obey laws designed for vehicles, "slower traffic", etc. Some of them even go as far as saying that they deserve to be hit and die for being such a huge inconvenience.

Too fucking bad, folks. Driving on the road is a privilege, not a right. Your sense of entitlement is apalling. Operating a vehicle inherently endangers everyone on the road. That is a one ton (or heavier) metal death machine that kills more people than anything else.

Riding my bike in the street doesn't endanger anyone but me.
