Ramblings
Sometimes amazing ideas strike like lightning out of left field while I'm engaged in conversations with people. I'll be involved in a topic, and almost accidentally I'll stumble across something fully formed which sort of comes out in a rush of written thoughts. I sometimes think that these little gifts are dropped on me by my subconscious, that I've been unwittingly thinking about these things and that some process behind the wizard's curtain has been furiously chipping away and just when I least expect it a fully sculpted form appears in a flash. This post picks up on a previous thread from the last one, about the nature of existence. I have the feeling that there is something important here for me and that I'm approaching something personally profound.
Especially if the entire structure of reality is purely an observational function of sentience. And that sentience comes from a permanent place, from existence itself. That what makes us sentient and aware isn't subject to mortality. That each of us is a fundamental part of existence trying to see itself while expressed in a timelike loop, dimensionally hampered by the blinders of our current temporal recursion. We can't see from lifetime to lifetime. But we are placed in a certain way to suit a greater purpose. Where our fate is pre-defined but forgotten. Our lives are played out in a random universe where the illusion of free will and not being able to remember the purpose is what leads to suffering.
