Better Sex Ed with Professor Elly

Better Sex Ed with Professor Elly

I love talking about sex, romance, and eros. This is a series I started on a different community, but I'm going to continue here instead :)

If you haven't met me, I do have a bit of a sardonic sense of humor. Just so ya know!

This was the first post in the series, and for the sake of continuity, I'm going to repost it here.

Recent discussions have brought it to my attention that there are common things folks everywhere don't know about sex! In a purely academic sense, to be sure.

Let's remedy this situation in as lighthearted a way as we can!

School's in session!

I have a PhD in random Google search history: totally qualified!

Okay class!

Here's something I didn't know until I was fairly older.

Did you know that often ignored, 'boring' parts of the body are actually nerve-rich and super-duper erogenous?

That's right!

Question in the back?

"What are these boring parts, you ask?"

Excellent question!

We're talking about things like:

  • Behind the knee - a nerve-rich area often ignored, so it has the double appeal of being both sensitive and surprising.
  • The earlobe - tuck someone's hair behind their ear and lightly graze this spot!
  • The scalp - so soothing and relaxing, it may lead to cuddles!
  • The nape of the neck or the throat - don't ignore this area. It can be even more erogenous for some folks than more 'common' attractions. There's a vulnerability to it that suggests intimacy between people, too. (Eros is so philosophical!)
  • The wrist - another bunch of nerves hangs out here, and it's also a pulse point - so it's very interesting to be touched in a sensuous way here. You're connected by your heartbeat. Who doesn't swoon for that? Give the wrist some romance!

In all seriousness though, here's another excellent tip I found:

If you're looking for intimate contact with a partner, remember that people often rush stimulation. Linger on the details. Be slow. Take time and fall into the moment. It will nurture the interest, the mood, the trust, the connection.

That's all for class today!

Thanks for the apples!
