I've recommended Blake Crouch's "Dark Matter" to several people here and recently decided to write a bit about the thought process that book sent me down.

Everything happens for a reason, eh? Cool blog entry. Mind-twisty stories always drew me in too. Dark Matter might have to be my next audiobook.
And hey, if I hadn't divorced, I'd never have started writing sci-fi/fantasy books. Still unpublished at this point, but fighting every day for my characters is FAR more satisfying than fighting everyday for. . .that other thing.
When I was 12, I remember asking my parents: "If god is omnipresent, does that mean he's with all the decisions I never made too?" I was constantly bummed that no one wanted to indulge that rabbit hole with me.
