Lewis Carroll's "Then Hunting of the Snark"
I read this long poem (1876) several times. You read it differently at different ages. I like the centennial edition (1981) most.
As for editions illustrated by contemporary artists, you may like Mahendra Singh's version (2012) and Tove Janssons version (1959). I think that the illustrations of these editions convey the mood of Carroll's ballad better than other contemporary editions.
There also is a facsimile edition. The reproduction of Henry Holiday's illustrations has medium quality.

Personally, I am especially interested in Henry Holiday's illustrations. He challenged the beholders of their illustrations with many allusions to the works of other artists.
