Love history? Love books? We combine both!!
How do you like to read about history best?
We've covered both historical fiction and nonfiction here. How do you prefer to read about history? If you're like me and like it all equally, which way do you find yourself starting down a historical period/topic rabbit hole most frequently?

I really like to read it all. Nonfiction and Biography in the winter months, historical fiction other times (with a few literary fiction thrown in for good measure).
I find that historical fiction sort of lights a flame for a topic, and then I disappear into the rabbit hole of nonfiction about said topic.
I agree. Sometimes I simply want to know how right the author got it, too...And then usually can't stop.
Exactly! I know that sometimes authors need to adjust the details in order for the story to make good, narrative literature, so I always like to find out what the true facts were.
