Weekend Breakfast
Hi All, Since it is the weekend and you maybe had more time to make breakfast, what did you eat this morning?
I was lazy and had left over pizza from last night!

I toasted an english muffin and topped each half with a fried egg. Didn't come out quite right, one yolk broke during the cracking and the other ended up medium-hard, but it was tasty. I'm new to the joy of slapping a fried egg on things, so hopefully I'll figure it out soon.
Oh, fried egg sandwiches rock! Maybe I'll do that tomorrow!
I'm visiting my parents so we're having brioche french toast and bagels with cream cheese and breakfast sausages - and I don't have to cook!
MMMMM that sounds amazing!
The best kind of breakfast--having it served to you!
Sunday Morning Update: brioche french toast again with fresh berries and crab and cheese omelettes 😱
Rolling myself to the couch to start my food coma comfortably...
Peanut butter toast! No coffee yet :(
Oh man, hopefully coffee is in your future! I had mine, now off to a movie with popcorn :)
Ooo, yay! Yes, the forecast calls for espresso... ;)
I had leftover pizza too! Cold pizza is the best breakfast. :)
Breakfast today was coffee and potato wedges because I had leftovers from last night that demanded to be battered and baked. Haha.
Yum! Did you use a specific recipe, or just wing it?
Read a couple recipes online for inspiration but I didn't follow one specifically. The leftover potatoes from last night sat in olive oil in a bag over night in the fridge so they were extra flavorful.
Nice, that sounds like a good start to the day! :)
Not bad for a lazy Saturday!
Chili!
There's a restaurant I love called Eggs In The City. I got an omelette with jalapeños, extra bacon, cheddar, sour cream and avocado!
Oh my, that sounds wonderful!
I used the super-simple crepe recipe Cello Tango posted in this community: https://www.imzy.com/breakfast/post/crepes
I buttered each crepe and sprinkled cinnamon sugar on them before rolling them up. Delicious!
Woah, that sounds very addicting. I'm a sucker for cinnamon!
